sml wants to be Prince Eric so badly

I seethe whenever the SML gives his little preachings about moral high ground, i.e., end of ep 9. I actually laughed because he is so out of touch.

The best part about the time change (I live in EST) is that the episodes drop at 11pm instead of midnight! 🥳 I am loving the drama so far! My sister who rarely watches cdramas is also watching so we get to rave about it and talk theories all the time. It's pretty nice!

Also, a random question, I am not familiar with tv channels, promotions, etc. Why is Pearl getting hindered?

I really enjoyed the first 4 episodes!! Lu Si as always is such a talent. She is truly a captivating fl.

Enjoying the drama thus far! I just don't like the second couple. Their interactions feel forced. I hope they get less screen time moving forward. The SML is so off-putting for some reason. I can't put my finger on it.

a case of a vocal minority

I wish this was 24 episodes or something instead of 40? That's just too long. It's going to get repetitive and draggy. I like the two leads a lot. Their acting is enjoyable. But the mystery/crime solving elements can be better and more engaging. I find myself getting bored at times.

I am sure it will have a happy ending! ☺️ If you wait, you have the pleasure of binge-watching. Oddly though, I prefer watching weekly. Something to look forward to as the week drags on

I am watching Love Next Door and enjoying it. It keeps reminding me of Lovely Runner, i.e., the swimming aspects, the time capsule. I just associate specific plot-devices with LR now. There is no going back.

My love for LR is unparalleled. I do this thing now where I am constantly watching LR in a way. I pause shamelessly and come back to it often whenever I am exhausted after work or when I am eating, or in my nothing-to-watch moods, etc. It’s quite comforting 💛💙

I hope new watchers are enjoying this! There’s a lot of noise that may deter some folks from checking it out but let the praise and love do some of the talking as well.

I am still getting flashbacks to lost you forever and CX whenever I see the ml.
