They do, ML and FL don't see each other for some years and they meet again when FL is in a university, this is where ML start to have feelings for her, FL does have a secret crush for him when she's in high school but is not reciprocated heck the name 'hidden love'
tbh I don't really find ML attractive but he's starting to grow on me.
i only watched Our Secret from ML but i find him better actor than 90% of cdrama actors i saw, his microexpressions and his eyes talking made the drama for me and he's super handsome too

I think the biggest difference was their character, she acts childish and he's very mature which create a bigger gap between them.
doesn't compare to hidden love, unfortunately. the FL is cute but her voice and mannerism annoy the f out of me.…
to be fair FLs in both Out Secret and Hidden Love act extremely childish, FL in Hidden Love acts like 12 years old constantly, her 14 years old version somehow act less childish than her 17 version and while she grow a bit at the end, she act childish during her university too

SML confessed 2 times, once at the start ep 6 and was rejected nicely and again at the end ep 22, which again she rejected him nicely and yes, the FL lead was in a relationship already with ML when SML confessed the second time.
To be fair SML had no business to confess to somebody which was already in a relationship but I don't think FL ever rejected him badly, they stayed friends until the end, SML even attended her wedding.
Also FL never gave SML any hope, he was always just a good friend to her and he knew it too. SML was pretty non toxic too, there weren't much drama between FL, ML and SML.
Somebody tell me why she chose the ML over SML I'm up to ep 8 and I truly dont see anything to like about ML and that's rare. ML is just unlikeable, I saw a lot of smart, arrogant and jerks ML but they were interesting or charismatic or something, something which this ML misses.
I would had enjoyed more if FL wasn't so pathetic, at this point every episode I scream to her "grow some self respect" and from what I read it doesn't change until the end so not sure how much I can continue, one thing I hate is pathetic FL.
The only good point are their classmates, SML and their 2 friends and that ML is so good looking.
nice drama but the middle of the drama is ridiculous, too bad because the start and the end are good, the writer wanted a break up but couldn't find a good reason
