Why is SFL so obsessed with ML? I don't think ML spoke more than 3 times with her, I think it was badly written, they should give her a stronger motive for her to be so obsessed with ML
And FL is super dumb to the point I wonder if she had something in her brain, a stranger come to her and told her that her adoptive parents which treated her better than their own child killed her real parents and she not only believe it but goes crazy hating them, she didn't deserved them and would like for them to make her understand what she had done
The middle of the drama could be errased (ep 10-14) and would be a better drama
I also hated how she was acting like a spoiled kid during the ending part, the ML is crazy possessive too but I lowkey feel sorry for him during the ep 10-20,like she hate him for something not his fault and then the girl can't make up her mind if she want him or not, her character is super unlikeable and badly written, the drama started well but I hate that she never grow up from high school
FL is insane, she pressured him into having a kid, disappeared one day without notice, comeback after 6 years with a kid like nothing and she still didn't knew what she did wrong. She steal him 6 years of his own kid's life, years he would never get again.
I give up on the drama after she left him and comeback with a kid.
FL become really annoying in the later episodes, hypocrite too. She spend half of the show saying how much she hate lies but at one point, all she was saying it was only lies.
ML is hot, that's what keep me watching after the show got draggy.

The main leads are wholesome, individually and together, they fit well together and their relationship is nothing but healthy, supporting and understanding each other, finally some lead characters which fit together rather force on each other. I absolutely love how easily they slipped into relationship status, so natural, holding hands, hugging, kissing , they legit looked like a collage couple, they were never awkward with each other and their interactions were so natural, I could believe they were a couple.
The second lead couple is literally opposite, they were cute in high school as friends but in college were really annoying together, for me they are the example of 2 people not fit together but force to be together which is why they were fighting and breaking up daily, personally they should stay as friends and each go romantically their own way, I did ended skipping a lot of their scenes together in college.
SML was cute too, the only thing I didn't understand was why he was confessing when she was already in a relationship.
All on all, I found the drama really good, no angst, no villain, no cringing, good acting, they are actually acting like teenagers and collage students, is a realist coming of age drama and the male lead is super handsome with a beautiful smile, I hope to see more of him, the FL is beautiful and cute too.
Don't hate me, but in my opinion Cheng Xiao's acting here is much better than Falling Into Your Smile, and her…
i like Cheng Xiao but her acting here made me drop the drama, she had no idea what she was doing 3/4 of the time, at least in Falling into your smile she knew what she should do even if she was pretty expressionless and emotionless, in this drama, she was just lost.
WK would be perfect for the ML because in the novel, ML is older than FL by 8yrs! But I really like Xu Kai too…
I watched their award video and XuKai looks older than her and thats something because i think he has baby face in general and he looks younger than his age but i think the height difference make it work, he looks like a giant next to her and that with the fact she was dolled up, with the right make up and clothes, they can make it work
