seryeong's brother actor acts in king2hearts, except I didn't really notice it when I watched that drama which I guess proves he's a good actor.

if you're not interested in history or more in political scheming and court dramas you may not like this. but it never bored me. I think if it's obvious that all the ministers are stupid than are the scheming is stupid

finally a historical drama which has mostly instrumental OST and I think no songs with english words! truly hard to come by nowadays

at first she's very naive and doesn't know about her father's evil deeds and stuff, but afterwards she does get a whole lot better

I think that's how a court works. I mean like, since prince suyang killed all of the good ministers and just left the ones who'll make him king it does make sense that the king will not have much power if none of the ministers are on his side

I fully agree with your comment! At first I did think seryeong was naive, but her character developed so much!! we need more female leads like this. I've seen a lot of annoying female leads in dramas. I also love how devoted they both were to eachother! <3
