YOU chose to press play on a yakuza bl and then get mad when the yakuza be there? cause this rating is insanely low. now don't get me wrong, this bl has major pacing issues and that is why i do not think it is very good but it is not bad at all. in fact, if the episodes were longer and they had more time to develop the characters it would be so good but we are not there yet with jbls. with that said, if you already know you are not gonna like a show, why even watch? what do you think was gonna happen? kieta hatsukoi vibes in a show about the yakuza?

you are clearly ragebaiting because if you were really serious about these issues, you wouldn't give shows like tharntype, love in the air etc a high rating. you were definitely looking for a reason to hate on this show and you found a 25 seconds clip and just clung to it. i would take you seriously if you were someone who was actually consistent with the morals you preach but sadly, you are trivializing these serious issues for attention.
PS: for all my fellow RL watchers, remember never to take a tharntype enjoyer seriously. if you spot them anywhere, just remember that their ass is jealous of the shit that comes out of their mouth.
it seems like dmd spent their entire budget on sets and costumes which are so comical on khanin that i can't take them seriously instead of hiring decent screenwriters. this is a recurring problem with their shows. the writing is always terrible.
the screentime distribution is a mess. usually, in bls, viewers complain about side couples eating up the main couple’s screentime. but in this show charan and khanin get all the screentime, while the two side couples appear for maybe 30 seconds. because of that, the side couples remain underdeveloped. what’s worse is that these side couples actually have more interesting storylines. so now you have a boring main couple dominating the screen while the potentially engaging side couples get no time at all. honestly, it feels like such a waste, especially because these episodes are painfully long.
the biggest problem however is khanin. his only defining trait is being hopelessly infatuated with charan. khanin turns into a damsel in distress with zero agency. his fencing? forgotten. his friendships? gone. his ambitions? non-existent. all he does is wear ridiculous outfits, order chakri around, and bat his eyes at charan. from the trailer, i genuinely thought he would oppose the monarchy in a meaningful way, but instead, he assimilates almost immediately without questioning anything. all he does is flirt with charan. initially, his behavior towards charan came off as weird and creepy to me, but if charan likes it, then… okay, i guess. regardless, khanin is incompetent and annoying,
