Yes, it’s cliche and you can guess what happens next if you’re an old K-drama watcher like me. But I’m enjoying it so far, it brings me back to 2018 with WWWSK vibes. I’m glad the ML remembers the kiss within just one episode. However, I hope they’ll know each other’s identities in next week’s episode.

I agree with everything you said, but unfortunately, that’s the problem with short-form drama plots. Here’s hoping someone discovers them and invests in a full-length drama with a better budget.
Is there any explanation why bu yan did not look for yu chen or why they end up did one night stand ?
From the comments below, Bu Yan was drugged by her brother, and Yu Chen liked her at first sight, so they ended up having a one-night stand. Bu Yan didn’t have feelings for him, so she didn't look for him at first, but Yu Chen did try.
I just read the character synopsis and from what I can translate, the plot goes like this: (spoilers ahead!)
The FL gets into a car accident and time-travels back to 1995. She tries to help her foster mother, who is cheated on by her husband (SML) with the SFL—who later becomes her stepmom. She ends up falling in love with the ML, who is both the SFL’s brother and, in present time, her stepmom’s brother (aka her uncle). I hope that’s not too confusing lol!
