Omg, what did I just watch. It was addictive, I finished it in three days, so bad it was good. Although shot after the perfection that is Love Between Lines, this drama feels like I watched Boys Over Flowers or Kim Samsoon, minus the amazing soundtracks (this show has the worst OST in history of drama) and minus kdrama toxicity. Cheesy, addictive, with seemingly no budget, terrible outfits and sets, and slow pacing, it reminded me so much of the love-cringe relationship I have with older kdrama. The only thing: I do wish there was more chemistry between the actors. If you are here for Chen Xing Xu, you won't find Xiao Yu. Hard to believe it's even the same actor. impressive how he can pull off two CEO characters and make them so different.
