Doomsday cultists
This series will hit hard for those who grew up in doomsday cults and were able to escape from it. Those who are still in cults themselves will consider this a sacrilege to everything they believed in.
My only gripe is that in spite of the characters being projected as being older, they still act like impulsive kids. The only small character growth I saw was that of the female lead.
