I really hope this series will have a plot driven story. No cringy fanservice nonstop fest for a particular group…
I'm with you on this one and I think chances are good that we will get pure quality over fanservice. KP is being directed by Kongkiat Komesiri, he specializes in directing and screenwriting action and horror. He's been giving an interview after the presscon in which he's been sharing his process of thought. His view of Kinnporsche goes deeper into the marteria and the screenplay has been revised to make the emotional bond realistic, let things unfold when the right time comes and make room for the characters themselves. He wants tension and intensity and longing, but the kind that you get because it's been building up between a person that walks the line of life and death daily, with heavy responsibilities in this, very dangerous milieu and someone that has been stumbling into it (or has he?), being a complex person of himself, having other internal conflicts to battle with. He mentioned Kinnporsche was not about fanservice, but about people that held a love so strong that they would die for each other- about longing, passion, danger- and he's made it clear that he won't let them fall atop of each other at some random moment and we're outta here (lol it feels like we're so used to that now, though). But let these scenes unfold when the right time comes. He's been going through this with the actors and they have decided to go all the way, in order to make this work. So much so they could basically swap souls :o). My respect for this Crew is through the roof and I'm so so excited.
Before people complain about the release-date again: I'm not sure where the December Information is coming from. This is exactly where it all starts. False information. BOC has uploaded an official statement that it will be released in 2022. This is next year.
These questions here are repetitive and if you wish to know more about the current KP-Situation, head over to twitter and Instagram and follow BeOnCloud on social media or scroll down two posts. Absolute everything has been mentioned here MULTIPLE times. It's all been made clear. The only chaos that's being made is within the 'fandom' itself.
Before you complain keep in mind that: the new company picks the series back up to give us what we wished for and make Kinnporsche happen. Yes, the release for 2022 is certain as given in the official statement and thus no, BOC has never postponed anything. With a new take on Kinnporsche, BOC is required to start from scratch again. The production costs MONEY and alot of EFFORT and with that comes risk. It's work, work, work. It doesn't happen over night if you want it to be proper and the crew will not randomly be setting a release-date when things need to be planned in an orderly manner. No, the company is not obligated to give you information on anything.
Someone is making an effort and is putting their utmost love into something to present it to you. Everything has been made clear. All these extra complaints are spoilt behaviour. We are getting this FOR FREE and all you have to do is wait. Take it or leave it.
Nah. We might all be a little doubtful regarding the previous mess, but Apo and Mile alone will certainly have enough impact to stand out. I'm also pretty sure the production crew is putting heart and soul into this project, after all it takes huge effort and personal investment to pick something back up and push it through against all these expectations. ;)
How can Gameplay not be in this anymore?? How can they think it is ok to break up an established BL-couple???…
You got it wrong. The filming clashes with another schedule. Gameplay would've loved to be a part of the series, as he said so himself. It's unfortunate timing. Gameplay is an actor. His new series is a great opportunity and it would be a pity to waste it. While you may be disappointed, you might aswell be happy for him, too :)
I am not sure about the date... I know this project was on, but as far as I know the filming of a lot of dramas…
These two articles are old ships that have left the harbour. After the unexpected Teaser we got the day before yesterday, we can certainly figure that a new team has formed to back the project up and keep it running. BeOnCloud's social media accounts are freshly launched, so we will have to wait until further notice (or the expected update tomorrow) to find out about further information, changes or people behind it. All in all, however, I'm very greatful that someone has decided to pull through with the project against all this mess, hopefully having found a fair agreement between parties. While I do understand disappointment, I don't think it's fair to bash the new kinnporsche in any way, as I have seen in the bird app. We know nothing. Going against all expectations and trying to keep a project running is huge effort and investement, last but not least saves our day of some sorts and keeps efforts that have already been made from going to waste. The cast and previous team didn't invest themselves for nothing.
That being said, I'm buzzing and hyped for everything that comes rolling our way. So excited!
Really hope they'll go more in depth on kang yo han's behaviour when he was a kid. It seemed like the writers knew what they were dealing with when they made him kill the bird. However I was disappointed to see that they continued to make him look like an evil kid in class who was 'unpredictable and the devil'. When he really isn't and there are many kids out there that are just like him. It's called autism and has nothing to do with the devil. He is highly intelligent, too. I was hoping it was just his overly stupid classmates calling him 'the devil', but so far we haven't left this depiction of him. Not even Kim Ga On seems to notice that his class was the problem. And he knows the story. It merely seems to fuel his "suspition" because "look what he was already capable of". No Kim Ga On. It's not what 'he was capable of'. It wasn't an intentional deed of murder. It was to protect the nice girl from her fear. So far Kang Yo Han has never been the problem. If everything, it's society that let him down- no one caught him except apparently Isaac. I really hope they clean this up and don't sell him as the problem within their system as many other kdramas already did.
Super intense. The writing is a big yes for me and the production is giving me goosebumps. I'm usually not into law-themed shows, but this one goes far beyond and twists at each corner. Haven't seen a piece like this before and I've had a ton of sleepless nights lol. Personally can't agree on this being exaggerated, boring or lame writing at all. I experience the total opposite, the story unravels in such a sophisticated manner that it leaves me flabbergasted. I tend to be very picky with dramas and usually peace out when it comes to politics and law. Binged the first two episodes without cringing once, and that'd be rather rare for kdramas nowadays lol.
If you're trying to find out if this one is for you, I highly suggest giving it a try yourself, as the comments differ like day and night and reading back- it all goes back to personal preferences.
I agree with the above. Depends on what your definition of romance is. As in hetero- a little bit of one sided love here, little confession there, but it's not the main focus. The two male leads, however, do bond and they bond very deeply. The story goes beyond kisses and hand-holding or simple love-confessions. It heavily affects the storyline and is part of the character development. This drama can be seen in a variety of ways. You may either watch it for diverse characters in a republican world full of crime and with too little knowledge about mental health, following along while they fight to make the city a better place. (That as a very, very lame summary). Or focus on interhuman relations to see more sophisticated emotions and trust. Eventually it depends on what you make of it yourself. :)
oh wow that hit me right in the feels...for Yuelou dreams are just nightmares so he probably would like to shorten…
(A little warning regarding trigger-topic depression). This reminds me- I view the ending as an extreme from every psychological standpoint. For Jiang Yuelou in this state, having struggled with his mental health all his life during republican era, I felt Keying to be his only reason for holding out. A man of only steel, Jiang Yuelou isn't. And then again, very little people could possibly be so resilient to pull themselves back up alone so easily after all these critical incidents and if they were, we'd be somewhere else psychologically. Quite the contrary, we see his emotions gnawing at him and it leaves him guilt-ridden so many times. Before he can fall too deep, Chu Ran and Chen Yu Zhi step into his life and catch him. They slowly show him that life is actually about trust and excitement and happiness. He gets more aware of these emotions- And yet still finds himself entangled in his dark headspace. Chen Yu Zhi offers him a new view of things: He starts to paint over everything that's black, revealing new contours, presenting him what he really consists of. He shows him how much he is actually worth as a person. So that Jiang Yuelou could paint his own version eventually. In color. This healing-process takes time. His first major loss makes his lifeline jolt, but it is okay, because Chen Yu Zhi is there with him to make him strong. When everyone in his lifeline dies, Jiang Yuelou is still healing. Chen Yu Zhi is gone. Everthing comes crashing down, his lifeline is ripping apart, leaving him behind alone, and replacing it with a greater amount of guilt then he'd possibly ever felt before.
Seeing Jiang Yuelou standing next to Keying in the end, also tells me that Jiang Yuelou could have already been painting all this time. He's been using Chen Yu Zhi's colors in the process and they remain steady even after Chen Yu Zhi dies. The doctor has given him everything he possibly could.

One of these rare moments I could so easily pull through a drama.

The va really make it a very pleasant experience.
