The trailer for The Lovers is indeed about his long-term relationship that ended. It may have been dramatized, but he has mentioned this relationship here and there on Hi6

the sister grows up and has the best character growth among the women. the fiancee is a baddie and scorned lover…
I really do. Despite Tong Hua and the dramatic disposition of FFYY, we have to remember that it's from XY's perspective—so anyone who comes between her, her happiness, and the people she cares about is seen as a villain. But FFYY is really just a woman trying to fight for her own worth, her own family. She truly thought what she was doing was for the sake of love and survival. Because she’s more ambitious and willing to take questionable actions to get there, we assume she’s a villain. But in the world of Dahuang, her actions are actually aligned with the world-building.

Oh, Shen Yi using art therapy and psychology maybe hard for some people to swallow, but as an artist, I got it. There is a design to things even in serial killers. The execution of how Shen Yi started to explore this could have better set up to create buy in...but for the most part I loved it.

We all know these two are popular actors not only in Mainland but also in inter( they each have popular normal…
At that time, shooting a successful BL is a surefire shot to Liu Liang status. Both Tan and Chen knew this when they were offered the roles, and both read the novels to understand their characters. Tan loved Guyun so much, he basically co-wrote and sang a song dedicated to him. These haters are such fake fans. You don’t have to agree with or like everything your fave does, but don’t push your beliefs onto them. Such clowns. Wonder how anyone would have so much hate in them? God created LGBTQ people, they are also God's children.

Wow... I rarely visit this page because it hurts knowing I’ll never get to meet them. But dang it — all these homophobes are so lost. May their fake god come and hold their hands, cuddle their non-existent hearts, cradle their invisible compassion straight out the door and away from our space. Amen.

I would be curious, how many comments came from AI or paid "influencers"? 90% maybe, more?
Omg. Don't you get tired of being you? lmao. Tell me you know NOTHING about WIK without telling me. This drama was an adaptation of huge novel, pre-existing fanbase. Most of the people on here have been waiting since the novel was published and when the adaptation was announced.

Last time, in London, I think it was even shorter :(((
You don’t get to look down on an entire ethnicity or nation while picking apart their culture for your own entertainment—like a vulture circling what you claim to despise.

You’re free to have your personal experiences and opinions, but reducing millions of people to “low IQ zombies” or “cowards” says more about your own biases than it ever could about them. The irony is—you consume their stories, their art, their hard work, while spitting on the people behind it.

If Hollywood feels “too open” or “toxic” to you, that’s your perspective. But turning to another culture while dehumanizing it? That’s not clarity or awakening. That’s hypocrisy.

You don’t get to claim superiority over people whose creativity you rely on to fill the void in your own life. You either respect the culture you’re consuming—or stop consuming it.

Simple as that.
