There was fan wars on the Chinese side, mostly low key allegations from her fans against Cheng Lei and I only know this because those same delulu fans did the same to Hou Ming Hao and now to Tan Jianci. Internationally, there isn't much. Thier acting and chemistry was very good. But I don't anticipate she will be paired with Cheng Lei or any of her latest leading men for awhile or if ever again.

I don't think they will be paired together again. I think there's too much fan wars between thier Chinese fandoms.

Moli is a play on words. Someone explained it somewhere... basically, it's a combination of the ML and FL name, also means only you (or something close to this), and in a different tone means Jasmine.

I agree this drama has really good storytelling and good characters and thank God the director and writer knows what they are doing.

The director and writer both worked together on Love and Destiny, and Princess Agent.

My guess is the crown prince was assassinated and the Prince Li was supposed to die on Lishan Mountain but maybe the academy helped saved him...that's why so many people have perished.

The cinematography style in Jasmine is actually harder to achieve than POJ because most of it is natural lighting or mimicking natural lighting in the studio. Props to the cinematographer and the director for knowing where to place the camera.

from the Chinese, the grandfather on Lishan Mountain is her maternel grandfather. So I assume, her dad and his family sent her back to her maternel family after her mother died of grief but everyone got murdered, and she was alone because her senior brother left to inflitrate the Ye family for her. Not sure if there's a brother He, if he's real or if he's a figment of her imagination.

Wow I'm on ep 4 and this is how you balance a ML in a FL centric story. I'm so sick of these FL empowerment stories where the ML gets deminished to a plot device. I hope the script and director keep this up. Finger crossed we don't see character degrading for the ML. Good stories needs good characters.
