I never knew the chemistry between CXX and LYX would be this good, and we’re only on the drama’s third day. We’re not even done with LBL yet, and here I am already wanting to see them in another drama, whether historical or a proper Republican-era one. Hahaha! So far, loving what they've done with the drama!

Yes, they did, but eventually broke up. It was described in the novel that ZX would somehow made someone feel lonely... This was just a quick passing, not even in the main chapters... Second extra chapter. :)

She had a relationship with SXJ in the novel (the Sheng fam didn't know at first), and it didn't turn out well. SXJ went on some arranged dates while they're in a relationship, she didn't know about it at first. SXJ eventually fancied someone from his arranged dates, but he still didn't break up with YR. Anyway, bottom line is, SXJ cheated on her, and she found out thru an anonymous email from NXG (NXG had a very good reason why she sent it anonymously), she created a situation that would eventually lead to her breaking up with him, and chose to leave Shanghai (the leaving Shanghai part is the same in the drama).

I wouldn't really call those who replied to you obsessed with the drama. They did have a point. If you dropped the drama just because you didn't find her pretty, then maybe you should have kept it to yourself? And for sure, before watching the first episode, you already knew who's in it, right? So why bother picking it up? I mean, it already came from you, that you couldn't stand her. So again, why bother? To critique her looks and post it publicly?
We definitely agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it doesn't mean we can ridicule someone's looks. You posted something that was below the belt, so of course, people would naturally reply. If you don't want to converse with them, then don't post something like that, and continue to reply and attack them.

As someone who loves the novel so much, I really loved how the drama turned out. From the first episode up to the last, it was absolutely worth the watch, and a no-skip for me! Will definitely be rewatching it soon (like tomorrow kind of soon, while waiting for Ga Xi to air hahaha), and for sure, it's gonna be one of my comfort dramas. 🥰
Kudos to all the actors and actresses, as well as the team behind it. ZJM & SWL did a great job! Appreciate LWM so much (not ZX, just to be clear, hahaha). First saw him in When I Fly Towards You, and SOM just made me wanna root for him even more! For those with the same thoughts, he has an upcoming drama where he's the ML, just not sure when they'll air it! Check his page! ❤️❤️❤️
The only thing I wish they had added to the drama was the YR–SXJ relationship. Personally, I would’ve liked that kind of slap to YR, she really deserved some really bad karma. Oh well, her ending in the drama still made sense. Hehe.
