Anyone who read the novel - was ZX this insufferable there too? was he not the og male lead? does the drama paint…
Not really different but he's way more insufferable in the novel! Hahaha! I remembered cursing ZX when I was reading the parts he's in (but I was too young back then, too emotionally engrossed) hahahaha!
Imo, Chris deserves a better man.A good person wouldn't really act as such towards the person they like, would…
I get you... He did get the healing himself part in the novel, and with how things are going in the drama, I think they'll still give him a redemption-ish arc (more on regret, realization and letting go, but not a love life).
Chris seems good, I hope she ends up with Zhuang Xu. I mean yes ZX really did XG dirty in their college years,…
Imo, Chris deserves a better man.
A good person wouldn't really act as such towards the person they like, would they? He was so openly nice to everyone except to NXG. Being insecure does not excuse anyone from being mean. :(
Hahahaha! To be fair, he didn't get that kind of embarrassment in the novel. So I'm happy their friends saw the…
Actually his script in episode 30 (the one beside the cab) was not part of the novel for that scene. In the novel, it ended at the elevator.
That whole rejection conversation would be found much later in the novel. They decided to use it early on in the drama, which I personally loved.
And if they'll still follow how the novel is for the remaining episodes, we will still see him for a couple more times. But personally, I think we will only see him once - his "redemption/regret" arc in the novel (2nd extra chapter). Hahahaha!
Specially how XG's maternal family is handled in the drama. I just adore them ❤️
The changes are really awesome! 💯
They made the story more exciting by adding scenes that actually made sense and fitted the narrative (like the ski part). Some dramas or movies just add scenes to drag the story out! Hahaha! It just seemed that it had a slow start, especially for some of those who didn't read the novel, but imo, the build up was needed so we could really see NXG's growth.
I guess after finishing the drama this week, it's okay if you won't really read the novel, the drama itself is great. 😄
wish he got double embarrassment if he had turned around and saw the fake friends had witnessed this closure!!
Hahahaha! To be fair, he didn't get that kind of embarrassment in the novel. So I'm happy their friends saw the whole thing in the drama. He deserved it after everything he had put her through.
Ditto! I'm now more excited to see what will happen to both of them than to see what ZX, YR & SXJ will become, hahaha! 😂
But thank goodness for VPN! Hahaha!

Wonder why it's been removed in Netflix VN...

That AND the great downfall of the Qian mom and daughter duo. We didn't get that in the novel so it's a big plus to see it here! 😂
