It's not pedophilia. It might be morally wrong on our eyes, but it's not pedophilia. Pedophilia is a mental illness that means children who have not hit puberty yet excite you sexually. It's altogether another level of sick, either in modern times or historical times. Older men getting turn on by teenagers might be morally wrong for many reasons, but female teenagers at the age of 14-15 already have gone through puberty and have womanly bodies. Of course nowadays, we are still half children mentally at the age, but let's use the correct terms. We cannot and must not relativize pedophilia. I had a bunch of high school classmates who dated guys in their 20s and they are completely fine. I pray I never meet a child who was sexually abused, because they will have serious mental struggles their whole life. Adults having sex with children is one of the most horrific things that can happen.
