All western countries have a strong BL fandom. I went to Comic Con two weekend ago in Spain and there were several groups cosplaying the untamed. If China wanted to popularize itself abroad, this would be a great way to do it. But China doesn’t care much about its image, and that’s okay. They have enough power on their own not to worry about other’s opinion. It’s fantastic country though, I wish more people saw that outside of its borders

That’s not true, looks matter when they are a part of the character development. HG didn’t fall in love with a girly man, and BLY has trouble accepting his love for GH because he was manly and didn’t want to submit. They have many physical fights and GH wins at first, but later, BLY wins. They are equals in most aspects. MaxTul would’ve been perfecto for the role for example, similar physical strength. But I’m sure many unknown actors also fit the requirements

Facts. Otherwise they would release dramas like Inmortal that has been cancelled in China internationally. They don’t because we don’t matter, only the Chinese market matters. I think it’s a bit shortsighted of the government, actually. With all the anti-China propaganda in the media, if they marketed modern Chinese shows as hard as Korea does, people would have a more positive and accurate image of China

BLY's actor is a terrible choice. BLY is manly, they both are, that's why they crash some often at first. The actor they picked looks too soft, too girly. He goes into the military and becomes a badass pilot for god'sake!!!

Yep. The couple communicate, support each other, understand each other, work well together and separately. Healthiest couple in dramaland, and they lust after each other too! Many chines couple seem like siblings, but no this two!
