Okay, enough about me loving and enjoying this show, here some things I don’t like:

1. Great soundtrack, but the same songs repeated in every episode + they’re too loud, which is distracting at times. Sure it looks beautiful and hearing them does make me feel good, but does feel overused at times. I know this is a k-drama thing but it’s little too apparent here.

2. I don’t like breakup tropes, please, don’t repeat them.

3. The trope of ALWAYS having an older character sick/dying and it being a plot device to make the character suffer.

4. I love the fact that episodes are concise 1 hour, but I also feel like they’re cutting a good amount of scenes. Is it just me? Like the epilogue in the episode where they were drunk and lying around in a street and Ung confessed to Yeonsoo about his childhood.

Lol, let me know if I’m missing something! And don’t take this as harsh criticism, it’s not, as I said, I love the show 😊

But some comments are clearly not critiquing but using the drama to hate on the Jisoo, that's unacceptable.
hmm, alright. you may not know their real intentions but go ahead : - )

okay, probably in your opinion. i scrolled through over thousands of comments here and i see only little comments directly hating on jisoo. also, why you're literally raiding in almost every comment saying "just say you hate jisoo"? if you feel offended by op's comment then i'll understand. but you really need to reword your responses a bit since it might sound obnoxious to people (including me).

Why are you guys choosing talk politics and history on this drama when there plenty of other drama that was airing…
*deep inhale* at the bottom of my heart i want every actor and actress (who aren't problematic) to be successful. they obviously practice a lot and it's not easy, including jisoo. especially how she was accepted through auditions and that made me appreciate her more. i also want the drama to be successful as well! a production team requires a lot of people and i respect them for working hard. but knowing these back and forth controversies made me skeptical.
alright, since i'm clearly done stating politics i'll just say that do not conclude that some of us are hating on jisoo. it will just cause more chaos when the drama ('s impact) is already full of them.
look, is it that hard to just understand how critiques and hates are totally different? and for sure some of us are not using the drama for hate, like i mean why would we waste our time on hating someone? i hope one day you'll understand that. have a good day/night!

can you guys stop accusing some of us on hating your ult? giving critiques to a drama plot is not equal as giving critiques to an actor or actress. in either way, why can't we give critiques? stating opinions on someone's acting doesn't mean that we hate the person. don't act like children. rethink about your words more.

the way the comments are so insensitive towards the issue.. this isnt about your unnie. there are some very real and very important problems with the show and most i-fans don't even have the nerve to read up/educate themselves on the matter and instead justify the backlash as "ppl hating on jisoo/bp bc they dont want her to suceed" lmao take off your kpop stan goggles and listen to what some actual koreans are saying about this. this isn't the place to talk above koreans who know their own history and the issues surrounding historical distortion better than any of us. just because k-drama is global does not change the fact that the way dramas are received by the domestic audience is still the most important. this is a korean drama, made in korea, by koreans, primarily for koreans. do not act like you know better. you don't.

i'm sure that i'm not the only one who thinks this drama is very misogynic, especially the "usually men are better" dialogue

I think it was purposely written that way to critique misogyny that exists in society.
