In spite of all of the negativity this show seems to receive (some valid enough based off personal opinion, but some much harsher than necessary), for me, I know this show is going to be one that stays with me for a very long time. Each week I find myself getting so wrapped up in the warmth and genuine devotion of these love stories, I get lost in the small, quiet moments where everything is being conveyed simply through eye contact, and I feel my heart either beat faster or break a little with each declaration of love, or display of affection. I'm going to miss this show so much when it's over.

Please God not another brother romance. Even if they switch it up at the end and have it not be true, I'm not happy about the prospect of having to go off the assumption that it is for now.

I've not had a chance to read the book yet - how does it differ, if you don't mind me asking?

From just the first episode, Zon and Zol are shaping up to be one of my favourite sibling duos in Thai drama, they're so funny and have such great comedic timing.

I agree, this tag should not be included, as I believe the only "gay character" that this could possibly be referring to is the loan shark, but from the context I believe that was more to do with power and control and humiliation. I've submitted a request to have it deleted, but we'll see.

I watched and loved the Korean version, but this has it's own charm too. Definitely worth watching even if you've seen the K-drama! There isn't much different between the two (which isn't a problem for me, I feel like a lot of international fans forget that dramas aren't made for them and are in fact primarily made for the residents in the drama's country of origin), but the actors play their roles really well, and it was really enjoyable to experience again!

Personally, I like those scenes. They are very tough to watch, but I like the way the show began with these two characters that we knew very little about dying, and then piece by piece, episode by episode, we are slowly learning more about their relationship and their backstory, and for me, it's giving me a really bittersweet feeling, as I'm getting more and more invested in In and Korn, despite knowing how their story ends.

The parallel between the two scenes of In/Korn and Pharm/Dean's looks of pure adoration and devotion killed me stone dead.

I'm leaving this series unfinished. As an LGBT+ person, I am so, so fucking tired of endings like these, and I'm not putting myself through yet another one. Good riddance.

I personally disagree, I don't think they're the same at all, 18 and 30 is vastly different from, say, 38 and 50. I have been very specific in saying that the fact that Bo Xiang is a teenager in high school and Zhi Chang is 30 makes me uncomfortable. And it's not my only issue with the show, and is not the only reason I have not been a big fan of this season, but it's what everyone seems to be latching on to.

Again, it is a personal opinion. People are allowed to have those. God forbid I mention something that makes me p e r s o n a l l y uncomfortable in passing, and God forbid I am somewhat critical about a piece of media. Apparently you have to blow smoke up every single show's ass on this website or you get lambasted for having your own thoughts and views.

I'm with you on the cute moments, the main thing pulling me through this show is how invested I am in Xi Gu's happiness, and his relationship with Hao Ting. I just personally enjoy a more thought out, cohesive plot when I watch dramas, so it's not ticking any boxes for me, though I do understand that a lot of issues came about throughout its development. It's a shame.

I already said that I don't think that an adult has any business dating a high school student. That's for many reasons. The stages that both parties are at in their lives, their general maturity, life experience and development, the power dynamic, all sorts of reasons. Zhi Gang is 30, he's almost twice Bo Xiang's age, the gulf between them is huge, and Zhi Gang himself points out how young Bo Xiang is several times and calls him a "kid" and a "little boy". Yes, that does make me highly uncomfortable, and I don't think I'm in the wrong for it. I don't think there's anything "right" about an adult dating a teenager who is still in high school, though I have been very clear that this is a personal opinion, so I don't understand why you're having a go at me. And how can it have nothing to do with the show when it's....in the show?

That's totally fine, we all have different opinions! It just makes me personally uncomfortable, considering that he's almost twice his age, and considering the fact that the youngest is a teenager and still in high school. I also don't like how Bo Xiang's personality changes when they're together, compared to how he acts with his friends, though I put that more down to the writing than anything else.

Because like I said, I care about the main couple and want to see how their story ends. I also personally like watching things the whole way through, even if there are parts I don't enjoy, so I can have a full over view of what I liked and didn't like about the show.

With regards to Goblin, I personally did not like the main relationship in that either. I thought the drama was fantastic overall, but did not enjoy that aspect, and it's no different here for me.

Also, I don't understand what correlation you're trying to make. Just because I support gay relationships, I automatically should be comfortable with adults dating teenagers?

I don't think adults have any business dating high school students, especially not at 30 years old.
