I know I'm in the minority here now, but I definitely won't be too sad to see this show end.
It has been dull as dishwater throughout, the plot has been so bland and even thought it's on its last two episodes, nothing has actually HAPPENED, it's been so stagnant and it drops plot points as quickly as it tries to establish them, the writing is boring and messy, characterisation is so inconsistent, and although the main couple is sweet and I do care about them, the secondary couple just makes me angry (and I personally despise ZhiGang.)
This show has been such a disappointment since the beginning for me, which is sad because the actors are cute and definitely have talent,. It's unfortunate they got saddled with this.
I have never been more glad that a show was coming to its end. I agree with other people that this show is extremely well acted, and the production quality is great, but I'm afraid that my compliments have to end there. It's difficult to root for a lead couple when neither of them are likeable, and when you can't really understand why they love each other in the first place. I can't say that I want them to stay together in the end.
Ewwwww. Disgusting!!! Why did they choose to make this the spinoff of the Pornographer?! What about Kuzumi. I…
This is a prequel. The majority of it is set in the past, before Kijima even met Kuzumi, and it explores Kido and Kijima's prior relationship. However, the series ends positively with Kijima and Kuzumi, so you have nothing to be mad about.
Just from the trailer, there will be rape and self-harm/suicide attempts in this, so this is definitely one series I will not be checking out. I've had enough of that in the LGBT+ media I watch.
Could anyone tell me how violent it is? I'm curious about the movie, but I'm really not in the mood for gore and…
It's quite violent, which isn't surprising considering the genre. I'm not sure what your cut off point for "extreme" would be, but there are a number of scenes of characters getting beaten, shot, and one scene where a character gets hot oil poured over him. However, I wouldn't say that anything was extremely graphic.
I feel like the brother couple is not really needed to the story, it's just seem too overcrowded with them & whatever…
I agree. I personally have no interest in the KengklaTechno couple at all and completely lose attention at their scenes, and I dislike the brother couple immensely. And yes to more Pond and ChaAim!
Love Rain, for one that I still have not finished almost two years after I started. It had so much promise in the beginning but as soon as it switched to modern day, everything went down hill.
For one that I struggled through to the end with, NAIL SHOP PARIS. My God, it might have been a short drama but it felt like a long one. Truly one of the worst dramas I have ever watched with absolutely no pay off. I had to do it for Song Jaerim, though. Funnily enough, he was the only thing that dragged me through Surplus Princess as well.
I really enjoyed this interactive drama! I am already a fan of both Mina's and of the trainees, so it was interesting to see this side of them. Juho's ending was definitely my personal favourite, but each ending has its own appeal.
Without posting a spoiler, PLEASE keep in mind that in the second episode there is something that could be HIGHLY triggering and very difficult to watch for some people.
