I've been wondering about this for a long time. Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun's apartments are opposite each other,…
Perhaps architecturally the building has a design concept of wrap around balcony/patio which makes it possible to place the patio/balcony at a completely oblique angle to the entryway of the flat/apartment. This way the 2 apartments have opposite entry ways but with a patios/balconies wrapped around to meet side by side.
I don't speak korean so subs are the lifeline to kdramas. I commend shi mok for making both sides of my brain work overtime watching stranger. Shi mok is saying something so ordinary and logical while the expressions on his face is 10 steps ahead dissecting, calculating, spinning , connecting dots and everything in-between. To understand this character is to understand that every movement he makes means something. Very few actors are able to achieve this as Jo Seung Woo does not only in this drama but across various other genres he's acted in. Episode 10 brings out shi mok in all his dynamic and lethal glory. Shi mok aint taking any prisoners!
dongjae is older than simok & was the senior prosecutor in s1. in s2 though simok most probably outranks him as…
If you are currently watching season 2, in EP10, dong jae's female colleague after updating simok about all the contacts dong jae made prior to his disappearance, she remembered a conversation she and dong jae in an elevator and dong jae reflecting on his life and the choices he's made and he specifically mentioned that one of his greatest shame was when he was investigated by his junior in season 1
how can simok be the most entertaining emotionless chcracter EVEEERRR. LOVE HIMMM.
Totally amazing. Just by moving a muscle here and there on his face, a blink, a side look, raised eyebrow, long bland look, you can interpret a whole range of emotions literally blasting out from simok. This is what separates a true actor from a light weight.
Subbed up to EP12 now
