Also, it seems like he'll be confessing his feelings to her tomorrow and I'm crying already TT TT Just get married already but I know it's not going to be that easy waeeeehhhhh
I wonder who is kidnapping girls. Could it potentially be the fairy palace? But they already have tons of court…
That other maid with Wol Hye today was not a real court lady at the end... Maybe Lady Cho is training a different bunch of girls as assassins under the fake name of court ladies
Today's episode was just so perfect TT TT The whole story keeps getting better and better, no surprise it's the first MBC drama in three years to exceed 10% viewership ratings and therefore they decided to extend it to one more episode to give us a better ending. A big applause to the actors, the director, the screenwriters and the whole staff cos they're just nailing it with this one Every week they're making it more and more difficult to wait for the next episode TT TT
Just thinking the same thing. Those eyes, those lips that face. Yikes. Did not recognize him at first with that…
My sister kept telling since the start of the year to watch Junho's Rain or Shine but I never listened loool I'm watching it now and I'm just amazed with his acting range and even singing tbh, he's so good
Lol you should suffer together with us... don’t wait it start watch now.. the ride is worth it.
Haha agreed, just watch at this point we already spoiled the life out of it lmfao but I also get the point of watching it all together but I also love the excitement and thrill of the wait for each week too much to just wait TT TT
Will the king remember that he was the one who gave Deok Im the book….I personally don’t think he will since…
I think Yi San will try to convince the King to take her side. Or the King might try to cover up his dementia, as he did during the court session, and agree with Deok Im.
I love Deok Im especially the in parts of episodes where she is thinking by herself. She is my favorite character…
That is what I want to know the mosttt!! Her past is going to play a major role cos I feel her family is linked to Yi San's father. I remember hearing something about her father being close to the traitor in one of the snippets of her and her brother when they were little so now I'm very curious
As Deok Im has done many times, she speaks up her mind about how the difference between poor and rich or man and woman should not affect the way a person behaves and that respect is of utmost importance no matter what. Even when she thought that Yi San was the lecturer and even after knowing that he was the Crown Prince she never really stopped expressing her beliefs and what she thought was right or wrong. Although at times it's clear she is scared and wants to stay silent as she knows that she's a maid and that she could die if she speaks up too much, she also knows she's smart enough to put her thought out there subtly and make it out of a difficult situation.
The whole conversation about the neck grab and feminism and media is important, even tho we know it's the 1700s, but we should not forget that Deok Im has shown many times up until now that she is not the kind of girl who would just kneel down cos she's a woman or a maid. The whole story of Deok Im and Yi San is about her constantly making him realise when he does wrong while loving/liking the good human being that he truly is. If there was anything bad about him we would have known by now also because it's such a known historical figure. And that is why I like her as a FL so much in this historical drama: she's 100% not in love with him as the Crown Prince, but for what his real self is.
The ending scene today was mostly the position of the Crown Prince taking over and implementing power over her because of jealousy, not the real Yi San in my opinion. Like everyone else, I don't want Yi San to become toxic or possessive and neither does he as he constantly keeps saying that he will be different from his grandfather, but I feel like when we see these sides of him it's his position and upbringing as the Crown Prince prevailing over him and it will be interesting to see him separate the two and finally start being his real self all the time. Plus we cannot deny that things between men and women were different back then, and media or even history is not about putting a curtain on these things. It was right at the end of the episode and we know endings always dramatize the whole thing. Let's see how it continues tomorrow before judging the whole thing :)
Sorry about the long paragraph lol I was just trying to put my thoughts and opinions on the matter together. Surely they might be different from others but I wanted to focus more on Deok Im's character cos I felt like she needs to be given a little more credit, but this is how I personally saw that ending scene for now
The part where Yi San said 'how dare they have such vulgar conversations' and then he was the most interested in knowing Deok Im's ideal man TT TT he's such a dork 😭
but since i know the irl story my poor heart probably won't be able to handle the whole drama i think ...
It's funny how I am so in love with them to the point that I am choosing to ignore the fact that I already know that there is going to be serious heartbreak TT TT It's going to be so traumatic TT TT
You definitely should. I don't watch many historical dramas either and usually lose interest in them after the…
Yes, that really shows how the story and the acting is attracting more and more people. Let me know how you find it when you start it, I'd love to hear your opinions too :)
Just get married already but I know it's not going to be that easy waeeeehhhhh

I'M STILL HOPING FOR A HAPPY ENDING THO since it's a drama and does not necessarily need to follow real history or the novel TT TT
It's going to be so traumatic TT TT
