Did you watch the entire series? Just wondering because you said he treated her like trash which yes he was cold, rude and mean to her. But it gave an explanation as to why he treated her that way in later episodes did you miss that? He treated her that way because he wanted to protect her, he literally explained that to his friend Su Lin that he didn't want her to get harmed because of him like his ex girlfriend had been. He was a famous piano prodigy with a lot of fans, his fans had bullied and attacked his ex and caused them to break up and he didn't want that to happen to Mi Do, so he acted that way towards her to try and scare her off or keep her away from him not let her get to close to him. But it didn't work even though his behavior sometimes upset her she still didn't stay away from him, kept following him around trying to cling to him. I didn't like his behavior at first either but after it was explained why he did it i understood and no longer disliked him. If you look at it from his perspective he was trying to protect the girl he liked/loved and not let her get hurt by his fans,which actually makes him a good guy he cared so much he wanted to protect her,did he go about it the wrong way, yes. But to him he thought he was doing the right thing, in his mind he would rather hurt her feeling and have her upset/mad at him then her get bullied/cyber bullied or physically attacked by his fans. And honestly it was working she was never bothered by his fans until his friend Su Lin posted lies online that her and Xi Song were in a relationship and getting married and that Mi Do was an obsessed fan trying to break their relationship up. After that stuff was posted Mi Do was attacked and beaten up by Xi Song's fans exactly what he was trying to prevent. But after that he realized he had handled it the wrong way and he then explained his behavior to Mi Do and her parents that he had treated her that way trying to protect her but that he now realized the best way to protect her was to be by her side. And also even though he treated her that way to her face, behind her back he would always defend her to his friends. His manager/friend had been trying to scare Mi Do to make her move and Xi Song told him to leave Mi Do alone that he would never let her move,he got in a fight with the guy who called Mi Do ugly and dumb even though he is a pianist and it could have seriously injured his hand and affected his career, he told his friends and aunt Gu to be nice to Mi Do and her parents.He even told Su Lin that he liked Mi Do very much and didn't want to be apart from her, but that he also wanted to protect her and not let her get hurt because of him so he wasn't going to tell Mi Do that he liked her. So you could clearly tell that he actually did like her he was just trying to protect her in the way he thought was best and right.

She does not approach him first they are neighbors she gets drunk his door is unlocked she wanders in his house and falls asleep in his bed next to him. He has insomnia hadn't been able to sleep for months it said but somehow the night she sleeps in his house next to him he is finally able to sleep, so he asks her to sleep next to him more often so he can sleep, which yes is weird and creepy but he never touched her or tried to take advantage of her they literally just slept. Yes she is a student and he is a teacher but he is not her teacher she goes to a different school from the one he teaches at. Yes it's weird them playing sports with the students but as far as the groupies he is a piano prodigy how is it his fault who his fans are he also had older fans Mi Do's mom was a fan of his.Idols have fans that are students how is having fans wrong?

He is not her teacher clearly you did not watch the entire drama she did not even go to the school he teaches at her best friend went to that school and she went there to visit her best friend. Her friend thought he was handsome had a crush on him and kept dragging Mi Do everywhere to see him to the basketball game and to his class. It tells in the episode that they snuck into his class and that she was not a student there. She goes to an entirely different college than the one he teaches she wanted to go go to the school he teaches at, she applied but did not get in she got accepted to another college. She wanted to wait a year to go to college so she could apply to his again and he wouldn't let her he told her to go to the school she got accepted at because the school he taught at was a music school and she wasn't interested in music she wanted to be a writer and got accepted to a writing school but wanted to give that up to go to the college he teaches at and he wouldn't let her. If you are going to tell stuff get your facts straight, if you haven't watched the entire drama and don't know the whole story then you shouldn't be saying anything. Even if he is a teacher as long as he is not her teacher which he wasn't (her sneaking into his class one time does not make him her teacher), then what is wrong with their relationship they are both adults. Just because she is a student and he is a teacher ( even though he is not her teacher) they can't fall in love? That is ridiculous logic. I have seen several comments posted by you spreading the same lie that he is her teacher which anyone who watched the entire drama knows that is incorrect, and if you had watched it then you should have paid better attention because they clearly told that she did not go to that school her and her friend even got in trouble for sneaking into the class and disrupting it if you watched it how did you not know that? What did you do just see him teaching and her sitting in the class and just assume that he was her teacher and then stop watching it because of that assumption. I'm sorry for being rude but it really bugs me when people want to say things when they don't even know what they are talking about it is just wrong, and i found your comments insulting to everyone who worked on the drama because you are spreading lies about something they worked hard on. If you don't like it that's fine you don't have to, but don't go around spreading misinformation or lies, check your facts before you say stuff.

She isn't his student though so why does it matter that he is a teacher? Yes he is a teacher but not her teacher she sneaks into his class one time with her friend and they got in trouble for that and it told that she wasn't even a student there, her friend was a dance student at the school he taught at but Mi Do was not a student there she just went there to visit her friend and got dragged to his class. If he was her teacher i could understand but people are making such a big deal out of him being a teacher saying it is creepy, it would be creepy if she was his student but she wasn't she went to a completely different school and they are both adults. So just because she is still a student and he is a teacher at a different school they aren't allowed to fall in love that is ridiculous.

No her mother is not his mother, his mother died when he was 5 it told in 2 different episodes that his mom was dead, so you should have known that. How did you get the idea that her mom was his mom it never said that or never even gave any impression of that so i don't know how you got that idea. He is a famous piano prodigy and her mom is his fan that is all.

Lol!! You and me both not gonna lie Sam is what first got me attracted to this series and i will stick it out to the end to support him, just hoping it gets better.

That's true, maybe they will give some answers soon so we can start making sense of the whole situation. Don't know why there are so many plot holes, but still overall like the series, I like the actors i have watched Sam in other series and have liked him and Yu is good also, so i will keep watching hoping that they can fix the mess.

I have to disagree about them complimenting each other well Gu Shegnan was a naive childish immature mess, who apparently forgot that she had a boyfriend/fiancee whenever he wasn't around and was hanging out with his brother and trying to hide it from him knowing it upset him and that she already promised him that she would keep a distance from the brother. She told him one time she would keep a distance but she didn't and ended up having a picture taking of her and the brother looking like they were going to kiss and upsetting Lu JIn. If that picture had gotten out it could have become a huge scandal he is the ceo of a huge business and she is his fiancee it looked like she was cheating on him it could have been bad for him. But he still forgave her and she swore again that she wouldn't see the brother anymore or cause anymore trouble or upset Lu JIn anymore but nope couldn't keep her promise once again and got drunk with the brother ran her mouth about Lu Jin to the brother and got carried to Lu JIn in the brother's arms breaking Lu JIn's heart. Then she was upset because Lu Jin was being cold to her she totally deserved it and she didn't deserve him. She couldn't keep her promises can't really be trusted kept letting Lu Jin down. He must have really loved her to keep forgiving her, but in my opinion she didn't deserve it.

I definitely agree that Shu Yi thinks that the girl was Shi De's girlfriend and that's why Shi De stayed longer and yes you are right the text Shi De sent Sh Yi about needing to tell him something in person made it worse. I also agree those jabs Shu Yi made were to try and get Shi De to explain. I am frustrated too Shi De apologized but didn't give any explanation, i mean why didn't he give an explanation. Shu Yi is more vocal than Shi De about his feeling so why didn't he just confront Shi De. I am so ready for this explanation and hope it's a good one, maybe we will start getting some clarity in episode 2.

I can't say i agree with what you said about Shi De not leaving the situation unadressed for four years. I mean he is the guy who was secretly in love with Shu Yi for 10 years and never planned on telling him, if his cousin hadn't told Shu Yi first Shi De may never have told him. So i think if he can keep the fact that he loved Shu Yi a secret for 10 years and never even try then maybe he could leave it unaddressed for four years i hate to say that, but i just seems that way to me, But i do agree with what you said about Shu Yi though he did scream out his love from Shi De from the bridge so i can't understand why he didn't confront Shi De and adress it when he saw Shi De with the girl and the baby that doesn't make sense to me. I hope we do get answers soon though and that there is a good reason or explanation.

I agree i think Shu Yi definitely still loves Shi De he just feels hurt and betrayed. And yes the scene where he couldn't remember the girl's name was a good scene, i'm not sure if he was trying to make Shi De think he had moved on or if he was trying to hint to Shi De about the girl he had saw Shi De with because of his remark "girls are better" i don't know maybe i am reading too much into that lol!! I love the scene where Shu Yi eats the food that is a sweet scene it shows he does still care about Shi De and the note Shi De left was cute too, "It's my fault not the food, eat so you have the energy to hate me" he knows Shu Yi feels hurt and he knows it's his fault and acknowledged that. I can't wait to see what happens and what the reason is for them being apart for 5 years, i hope there is a good explanation for them being apart.

I think based on the preview for next week they might have sex. It shows Shi De at Shu Yi's house with no shirt on and Shu Yi's dad comes in and asks Shi De what he did to his son. I could be reading too much into it so don't take my word for it. I guess we will see next week.

Exactly!! I know Zhe Yu used to be in love with Shi De and they were friends, he never hung out with Shu Yi in the past exactly when did they become so close. Maybe they became close because Bing Wei and Shu Yi were friends and then Bing Wei ad Zhe Yu started dating. I guess we will find everything out eventually, the answer to this and why Shi De and Shu Yi were apart for 5 years, i hope there is a good explanation.

I wasn't trying to argue i'm sorry if you took it that way, this is a place for people to share their views and different opinions, just because someone's opinion is different than yours doesn't mean they are trying to argue. I like to talk to people about different points of views. But i apologize if i offended you but if you don't want people to comment and have a different opinion then yours than maybe you shouldn't be posting comments on here because this place is for people to share their thoughts and opinions and not everyone's are going to be the same. But i do see what you mean that they didn't have a chance to talk to Shi De yet that is true, i just assumed that they didn't like Shi De or were at least angry with him because Liu Bing Wei literally told Shi Zhe Yu not to take his anger at Shi De out on someone else and then Shi Zhe Yu said that Shi De wasn't there when Shu Yi needed him so what the hell does he want, to me that seems like someone who is angry. I was just sharing my opinion and my thoughts on it again not trying to argue with anyone. But you are right it is not that important.

They didn't act like they wanted to smooth it over they didn't even talk to Shi De in fact they ignored him to me that doesn't seem like behavior of people who want to smooth things over.

Ok i'm not saying this show was all bad but there were some things that really irritated me about it. First of all Li Man insults Gu Shengnan's food and embarrasses her in front of her boss and Lu Jin defends Li Man and tells Gu Shengnan she was being too hostile, i would have been upset to if i was her. They said multiple times that Li Man studied at Cordon Bleu well then why didn't she become a chef instead of a secretary but always wanting to critique Gu Shengnan's food and embarrass her. Then Lu Jin kept doing things causing problems there was the photo with Lu Jin's brother that didn't look good she promised to stay away from the brother and not cause any more problems but then went out and got drunk with the brother and carried home in his arms, both of these things could have caused a scandal and look like she was having an affair it could have possibly even affected Lu Jin's business as his fiancee her behavior did nt look good she was too immature and not responsible enough for that relationship but he just kept forgiving her. And Lu Jin's brother used his fiancee just to try to hurt Lu Jin, Lu Jin apparently was so mad or upset about it that he did whatever he needed to do to make sure his brother lost the dad's company, only to turn around and basically give the company back to his brother without his brother even apologizing to Gu Shegnan for using her. Also Lu Jin's mom makes Gu Shegnan pull out weeds all day till she ends up sick and with a fever and Lu Jin doesn't confront his mom about that. None of that makes sense to me at all.

He probably followed him or either it was on the file, because i don't think Shi Zhe Yu/ or Liu Bing Wei would have told him they seemed to not like Shi De.

I don't believe that Nubsib is a rent boy i read a spoiler for the show that said Nubsib has liked Gene had a crush on him for a while and so he does things tells lies to get close to Gene to make Gene like him such as wanting to stay with Gene ( even though he didn't really need a place to stay) yes he convinced Tum to help him convince Gene to let him stay there but we don't know how or why he convinced Tum. Nubsib could have lied to Tum about needing a place to stay, or maybe Tum knows the truth, but still helped Nubsib. But to me the rent boy theory just doesn't make sense because from the trailer and even the teaser months ago all of Nubsib's actions are doing things that shows he likes Gene. He even cries when Gene wants to break up with him. And plus what does having a rent boy have to do with anything, if he was a rent boy why would that mean he had to live with Gene or try to get close to Gene it doesn't make any sense.

What i have heard and read is that Nubsib is from a wealthy family and he has had a crush on Gene for a while and does everything to get close to Gene and have a relationship with him. He pretends he needs a place to stay, asks for help practicing his lines and kissing just so he can kiss Gene. In fact this was listed as a spoiler for the show ( if it's true or not i don't know). I have never heard the one about method acting. It did say that it was his second round of casting, and that he couldn't get into character properly the first time. But with auditions they will have several rounds of casting to eliminate people until they find the ones they want to play each role. People will get called back to audition again for a second or even third round. He wasn't fully prepared the first round so he had to prepare more for the second round, but i feel like his acting couldn't have been too bad or terrible the first round or they wouldn't have let him come back for the second round of casting, maybe i'm wrong about that. But i also noticed that Nubsib was looking and staring at Gene when he first came in the room before Gene even made the comment about Nubsib not fitting the character, so the question is why was Nubsib looking at Gene when he first came into the room, he likes Gene or he's curious about him? Maybe he did use Gene for the acting partner because of the comment Gene made or maybe it was partly because of that and partly because of whatever reason Nubsib was looking at Gene. But with the fact that he did stare at Gene before the comment was made makes me more believe that he had a crush on Gene more that using him for his acting or maybe it could be both?
