I'm not sure what the promise is that Shi De made to Shu Yi's dad, maybe it had something to do with Shu Yi's career and protecting it don't really know but can't wait to find out. As far as Shu Yi's dad's involvement don't know exactly how involved he is right now just know that he asked Shi De to make some kind of promise. But do know for sure that Shu Yi's dad is not the one who married Shi De's mom, because Shi De's stepdad is American. Shi De told Shu Yi that in season 1 before he left for America, that was why he was going there because his mom was getting married and going to live there with his stepdad. Shu Yi's dad is Japanese not American so he couldn't have married Shi De's mom. And as for what Shi De meant when he said he was gonna make it not really sure about that one either, it couldn't have meant he was gonna make it to keep his promise because he clearly knew he wasn't going to keep the promise because he had already told Shu Yi he was going to pursue him again. But that is an interesting question, what did he mean? Guess we will have to wait and see.

Oh ok i didn't know that, but i have only seen episodes 1 and 2 and the scene you are talking about was in ep 2. Ok i went back to Wetv/Tencent and looked and it only has 2 episodes, and it says on this page kisskh that episode 3 won't be released until March 19th. Well March 19th where i am different time zones will be different, but it says episode 3 hasn't even aired yet. So i'm still confused to how you saw 3 episodes unless you are counting the special episode. But either way it doesn't really matter, i was just curious wanting to make sure i didn't miss anything.

Yes!!! Thank You everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and opinions, and freedom of speech gives everyone the right to voice their opinions. Not everyone's opinions is going to be the same but just because someone has a different opinion doesn't give anyone else the right to be rude or mean to them or try to tell them what to think. I may have sounded rude in my previous comment and it's not that i'm trying to tell him or anyone else what to think or what their opinion should be. Some people liked that scene some did not and i respect everyone's opinion but calling rape hot just hit a nerve with me. I know it's just a show and no one actually got raped i understand that but still as much as i love this show that scene wasn't my favorite i still respect Sam and Yu as actors they were playing a part, but those kinds of scenes in any show is disturbing to me and i just can't understand someone thinking it is hot.

That's my point they only post them on youtube the week after they air. Like yesterday they posted episode 2 which aired last week and next week they will post episode 3 the day that episode 4 airs. That's what i meant by having to wait a week to watch it, that's why lots of people do like you and watch it on dramacool. I like to give the show support and support the actors so usually i will watch it on dramacool or dailymotion first cause usually it is posted there the day it is released or at least the next day and then the next week when it is uploaded on their youtube channel i go watch it there or even just have it playing while i'm doing something else to give it views and give it support.

I know it's been 5 years since they had seen each other but i assumed based on the special episode saying that Shi De came back after 2 years and the fact that it showed him leaving America with a suitcase that he had came back to Taiwan but just hadn't seen Shu Yi for 3 years. At least that's what i thought before this season started but after episode 1 and them saying that he just came back from the US i just got confused not knowing if he came back to Taiwan and then left again and went back to the US or if he never left the US at all, or maybe he was going to leave the US after 2 years but then something happened and he ended up staying there. Whatever it is I'm sure it will all get explained. And i'm sorry too i probably took your comment the wrong way.

You don't have to be rude, just because someone is confused does not give you the right to be rude. Being confused is not a crime and it's nothing that deserves someone being rude to you. As you said yourself the opening monolouge and the written calculations for the special episode had people confused i'm sure it's not just me. And i know all the FACTS you mentioned, but isn't the special episode supposed to tie into this season, if not then what was the purpose of even having the special episode. And if it is supposed to tie into this season then of course i would pay attention to what was said in the special episode and try to tie it into this season. I'm sorry my confusion ticked you off, but if you get ticked off and offended and rude just because someone gets confused about something then you have issues.

No his dad is Japanese they showed his dad on one of the episodes. And also Yu the guy playing Shu Yi is also half Japanese half Taiwanese in real life that's why they decided to do his character like that.

It's a bit confusing though because Mi Do's mom says she has like Xi Song since he was 11 and that she met him when he was 11 while she was pregnant with Mi Do which would make him 11 years older than Mi Do. But Su Li said that her and Xi Song had been friends since they were 10 and had been friends for 16 years which would make him 26. I think the screenwriter's messed up a bit with that why did they give 2 different stories about his age?

I'm confused on how he just came back from the US though because on the special episode it said he left the US and went back to Taiwan after 2 years but it has now been 5 years. So if he came back after 2 years he should have been in Taiwan for 3 years unless he came back to Taiwan then went back to the US again. It is really confusing.

But you have to wait a week to watch it some people don't want to wait another week. If they watch it somewhere else today they can always go back next week and watch it on the youtube channel to give the show support.
