They did skip a lot in this version, but i honestly think in my opinion but i could be the only one that thinks this way and that's fine, but i think that in the cdrama some of the story they told was unnecessary and i didn't really care for it. Like when Jing Xiao lied and said she stole the medicine to protect the doctor i thought that was ridiculous and unnecessary, i didn't like that at all, she didn't do anything wrong and neither did the doctor why should they take the blame, i am glad in this version they didn't have Ha Young do that. And i also didn't think it needed the part where Jiang Chen pretended to have a girlfriend, i know he was trying to make his ex jealous but don't think it was right to use someone like that even if the woman was ok with it. And i don't like at all how cold and mean Jiang Chen was at all, definitely like Cha Heon in this version much more as far as that goes, he is nicer so can kinda tell his feelings more that Jiang Chen's. However there are things they did cut out of this version that would have been nice to have, like would have been nice to see more cute moments of them being a couple where the episodes are so short there wasn't much of that content. I don't like in this version though how when the female doctor asked Shin Sol-i if she was Heon's ex Sol-i said no, i know they broke up and she still might be upset or angry but they were together for years and she like him for several years before they got together, and they didn't break up for some terrible reason so she shouldn't hide it.

Exactly!! I cried every time i seen the way she treated him, he did not deserve that at all. It was not his fault it was hers for leaving 2 young kids at home and locking them in the house so he couldn't get help. I wanted to reach through the screen and slap her so many times.

I actually like Cha Heon i know he was a jerk sometimes but that was because he was jealous and mad about Shin Sol Yi hanging around Woo Dae Sung, not saying that it was right because it isn't, but could tell he felt bad after he did something mean to her every time, though he never did apologize and he should have. Not saying he is perfect or that i agree with things he has said and done, but i think his character is a lot better than the main guy on the cdrama. The ML on the cdrama was a lot meaner and colder to the FL than Cha Heon is on this show. But i do agree on both versions the second ML always treated the FL better so i myself never understood why she would choose the one who acts like a jerk over the sweet one. But it is a drama and the main leads always end up together. I wonder how Cha Heon will win her back on this version if it will be exactly the same or not.

I really can't stand Ling Xiao's mom or is it just me? She abandoned him then shows up 10 years later and forces her way back into his life. He basically gives up 9 years of his life to take care of her after her accident and she doesn't seem the least bit grateful, all she does it yell and throw tantrums, i understand the situation she was in and can't imagine how she must have been feeling. But she had no regard or concern for her kids at all trying to kill herself. she damaged Ling Xiao, caused him stress and he developed a sleep disorder because of her because he was basically afraid to sleep scared she would hurt herself, every time he heard a noise he would get scared and go running to check on her, she even threw a tantrum and scalded him with hot porridge he will be scarred for life. And yet never once did she act like she was grateful or appreciative or say thank you, she always acted like he owed her something. And when she found out that he wanted to move back to his hometown she was selfish took his credentials and accused him of abandoning her and his sister. She never once said or acted like she loves him or acted to him like a mother should, he didn't owe her anything after she abandoned him in fact she owed him. And her acting like the other's weren't his family and always being mean and rude to them and acting like he should treat her better than he treats them when they are the ones that were always there for him and never abandoned him. I think she really needs a slap. Sorry for the long rant, i am just now watching this drama haven't even finished yet, just finished episode 36 but i just couldn't stand the mom anymore.

Actually 76.692 hours equals 8.75 years which is what makes it so confusing cause where does the 8 years come from?

Yes they do end up together. They get back together in episode 23 well more or less at the end of episode 22, episodes 20-22 he fights and tries hard to win her back and at the end of episode 22 he succeeds in getting her back and they are together in episode 23 and get engaged. At least that's how it happened in the other version not sure if it will happen exactly the same in this version or not.

I really wonder what happened for Shu Yi to slap Shi De like that i am getting nervous can't wait for season 2.

I don't think it's really that people are scared, maybe some are but for me i am more curious about why they were apart for 5 years and why Shi De says they have ben separated for 8 years that's a little confusing but i'm sure all will be explained in season 2

After watching it again i could see the shocked look, i just really wonder what happened doesn't make any sense after everything he did to get close to Shu Yi to be away from him for that long. Looking forward to season 2 to finally get some answers, 25 more days.

That's exactly what i thought he dad just acted strange to me even asking why he wasn't informed of Shu Yi staying with a classmate, even though Shu Yi is an adult who shouldn't have to inform his father just seemed odd. Yes we have to wait to find out, 26 more days seems like a long time or is it just me lol!!!

I agree totally with that it took Shi De years to tell his feelings and he might not ever have if Shu Yi didn't find out by accident. But as soon as Shu Yi realized his feeling he went straight to Shi De and told him and kissed him, he is indeed a firecracker lol, i can't wait either.

I know what you mean i have been through a few theories myself, and yes that is what this thread is for. I agree about Shi De and not communicating at first i thought he didn't tell Shu Yi because he was going to America but i don't think that is it because then why didn't he tell him all through high school. Maybe he thought Shu Yi wouldn't like him back or that he might lose him as a friend if he told him but who knows, and that doesn't explain why he didn't tell him about going to America, so yeah i guess he just isn't good at communicating. And if Shu Yi's father had something to do with it i think you are right Shi De won't tell him because if he was going to tell him he wouldn't wait 5 years or whatever to do so, at least that's what i think but i could be completely wrong. I'll be so glad when it is March 5th so we can start getting some answers lol, hopefully we get some answers in the first episode and it doesn't get dragged out.

I went back and watched it again and you are right he does look more surprised than confused. Yes no one knows for sure what happened or what Shi De meant or why he got slapped, but i agree with you I'm sure Shi De had a reason for being slapped Shu Yi wouldn't slap him for no reason, what that reason is and what exactly happened we will have to wait and see. It is nice to talk about it though that way you can find out other people's perspectives maybe someone else might have noticed something that you may have missed that may be a clue or help you see things differently, at least for me anyways, i start to see things a little differently sometimes from other people's perspectives. It is nice to see what other people think and just have a discussion about it even if we can't figure out for sure what happened it is still nice to talk to other people who enjoy the same thing as you. My heart hurts for him also, i really hope no matter what happened that they get a happy ending.
