There are 10 episodes though and a special episode. The special episode will air next week. Episode 9 will air December 11th and the 10th and final episode will air December 18th, On the preview for episode 9 it says the final chapter not the final episode. The final chapter of their story will take place in both episode 9 and 10.

Personally I don't think episode 6 is about Aoki "being jealous of girls", I think it's more about him being insecure…
But in all honesty who can really blame Aoki for being insecure. Ida himself said he didn't even know if he liked Aoki and that he couldn't figure out his feelings. But yet asked Aoki to date him. How is Aoki supposed to be secure and confident and sure about Ida dating him when Ida himself isn't even sure. Like Aoki said why did Ida agree to date him or ask him out when he isn't even sure about his feelings for Aoki. That would be a confusing situation and cause insecurities. We can't expect Aoki to be secure and confident in that situation when there had been no clear answer from Ida about his feelings until the very end of episode 6. But now Aoki knows that even though Ida is still unsure of his feelings at the moment he is taking it seriously and wants to like and date Aoki. So now maybe going forward Aoki won't have anymore insecurities.
I really want to watch this but am trying to wait until all episodes are released and subbed. I don't like to wait a long time in between episodes. I know it takes time to sub them and i appreciate the subber's hard work. I just prefer knowing that when i have the time and am ready and want to watch that the next episode is ready and not having to wait on it. But i really like Sugino Yosuke so i'm not sure if my will power and patience will hold out until all episodes are released and subbed lol.

I haven't seen episode 6 yet. But the genre of this series is Comedy, Romance, Life, School as listed up above. So considering that this series is a comedy if he is making it feel like a comedy then he is doing his job. And his character including his expressions are similar to the manga so again he is doing his job the way it was written for him to do so. But if you can't connect with him that's fair enough. Each person is different not everyone will connect with every character and that's totally fine. I personally think Aoki is adorable i love every character they make me laugh and keep me entertained and excited for the next episode.
