YES! Honestly the "underdog" group totally peer pressured Yu-min (the girl who gave out info) and part of me understands…
before the second game started it was made clear what the alliances were though. the alphas played by their pieces because that was what separated them, and they were Fighting against a lot of people. they definitely didn't plan right, but that game was gonna be ruled by numbers/alliances regardless. also Si-won (along with guillaume) gave Dong-jae a piece after the first game. I wouldn't consider it stingy, they were being cautious. also I feel like seok-jin mightve aligned with them anyway, regardless of getting the piece just cause of his own principles of wanting the strongest to win and not agreeing with the others. and generally speaking I'd say I would've preferred for Dong-jae to go through over Si-won, but I'd prefer Si-won over most of the underdog alliance
I don't think so cause he lost the prize money by doing that, and they even show how he was gonna play his move and they stopped him. I'm sure the three of them were exhausted from playing that card game for like 7 hours straight
also I would put a spoiler tag cause while yes its "obvious" orbit was gonna make it far, there were some surprise eliminations in the show so people never know
how are we supposed to get over Dong-jae being eliminated when he still comes up 😠but also loved that Si-won messed up and called Seung-kwan "Dong-jae" by accident 😂
at this point, what helps me to keep watching is seeing when they catch the gardener. outside of that I only care about Kwon Jaegyeong, I like his character. the two leads are frustrating the hell out of me. Why the hell did hong-jo open the door and sin-yu should call the police if shes not answering!
I also watched up to episode 10 and was about to drop but some people here encouraged me to give it a chance and I just finished ep13 and its the best one of the whole series in my opinion. 11 & 12 were okay, not terribly boring but not exciting either, just okay enough for me to feel like I could finish the show

I see your point with Orbit, I hadn't thought of it that way in terms of thinking the other team already had 2 more points. though for Yu-min being a doctor, I don't think she's that kind of doctor. not every doctor is under constant stress and getting yelled at by patients. like plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists and family doctors - none of them have the same stress as an ER doctor. I don't remember her exact field in medicine but I was given the impression she works at a clinic not a hospital. definitely agree about Joon-bin though, he was waiting for Dong-jae to mess up -_-
and for Si-won I guess we'll just have to disagree. the way I remember it happening, Orbit and Joon-bin starting recruiting people based on the idea that "we don't have as many coins, underdogs have to stick together" and also at first specifically icing out Dong-jae and Si-won cause they had a "strong alliance" and cause they couldn't trust Dong-jae
at least we can agree on rooting for Seok-jin! sorry to Orbit but even though I understand kicking out the girl now, I don't agree with his way of playing by gathering "the weak" to target the strongest and kick them off one by one
it's definitely not the same, but I still really enjoy the show and I feel like I still see his influence in Si-won and Seok-jin, hope one of them two wins!
Very addicting. Going to go on a bit of rant though lol. I am upset that Dong Jae got eliminated the way he did.…
YES! Honestly the "underdog" group totally peer pressured Yu-min (the girl who gave out info) and part of me understands why she did it, which is why I'm more mad at the group than at her cause they legit surrounded her and kept saying GIVE US THE INFO! YOUVE BEEN BETRAYED, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY. meanwhile none of them offered her anything to save herself just in case, they could've given her five points and sacrificed one each. she even gave her OWN number, she was seriously not thinking straight. and they also took out the other girl Hye-in (I think?) which was also unnecessary, what happened to save the weak? and eliminate as few as possible?? I do think orbit is playing like a genius but I stopped rooting for him when he got hypocritical. (I also believe this is part of the game mentality, I'm sure he's really a wonderful person). as for Si-won, I don't think she's as much of a follower as the others with orbit have come across as. I'm thinking with Dong-jae gone, she'll step up a bit more. I'm rooting for her and Seok-jin cause they've really been rained on and had to cooperate with the very people attacking them so viciously and they understand that who should win are the strongest players
Dong-jae saying he hopes the viewers don't hate him too much made my heart break for him 😠I know I'm not alone when I say I was rooting really hard for him and am shocked to see him go
I'm on episode 5 but I kind of hate how they eliminated Dong jae over a misunderstanding like really hate it.
Same! he was among my favorites to win cause he seemed clever but also had his own set principles he actually followed. I really hate how comet spun the narrative "we are underdogs and must stick together" after ONE game where roles were completely coincidental. also it's hypocritical to say "I want everyone to survive, but let's try to get these people eliminated". him and joon-bin are taking over too much. I'm on ep 6 and I'm really hoping people realize that they're being manipulated
I’m looking for episode 5 -8 too, every site is showing complete with only 4 episodes, why? And I haven’t…
the first 9 are available on Netflix, and 10-12 are set to release October 10. I remember seeing on this site that there were only 4 episodes total when it first released but they fixed it to 12 after a couple days, I think maybe there was confusion cause it doesn't follow a normal update schedule, it updates on Tuesdays for 3 weeks: first 4eps then 5eps and finishes with 3eps
I’m not one of those who think the story is getting boring, but I’d like to answer your question, from objective…
ooh that's funny cause for me I think it was actually Rowoon's character I disliked more 😅 I find him inconsistent and weak. he was cold and harsh at the beginning and then he thinks hes under a spell and becomes clingy and needy, and then when he realizes he actually loves her he gets soft and sweet. his whole personality changes are too much for me
I’m not one of those who think the story is getting boring, but I’d like to answer your question, from objective…
thank you for being objective! I actually don't mind the side character stories, though I can see why others do, it was the main couple I was having trouble with. their scenes were feeling very repetitive and slow to me. Ill go ahead and give this week's episodes a chance then! hopefully I like it, cause I hate dropping shows but I also feel like I waste my time when I don't and it's something Im not into
I've been watching when the new episodes upload but this week I've been struggling to watch the new eps (11-12), can someone tell me if it worth continuing or should I drop it? preferably someone who also thought it was getting boring and no spoilers please !
They need better writing or editing for the game descriptions and rules. The first one was so convoluted and long…
I thought it was well done. yeah it was a long explanation, but it was a lot of rules. arguably, I'd say you wanted less rules/simpler game, not a better explanation haha 😅 admittedly about halfway through the rules I almost rewinded because I was afraid I already forgot everything, but the added graphics helped me a lot plus individual rules would come up during gameplay too which helped as reminders. ultimately I think the game was a lot more complicated than anyone expected (even one of the contestants made a comment about it) but this is a show about using brain power so I guess we shouldn't expect it to be a leisure watch
YES! this really bothered me cause they showed the red hands, played up the spell book (and it's not even certain it worked??) and the flashbacks to Joseon era but then nothing until finally now in ep 9. they should've cut down the episodes and simplified the plot a bit and I'm sure this would be a lot better. less confusing and so much less boring. its getting hard to watch 😔
This drama is seriously messing with me. I have like 400 Kdramas under my belt so I KNOW SLS (second lead syndrome);…
same! I've had SLS since the first episode, but it wasnt until now (ep 7) that I was like hmm maybe the ML isn't so bad and got a little torn. BUT I still want the FL with the SML!!!
