https://youtu.be/B8gRo7ONSBI?si=r4OgzGSu3tKTayns I don't know the name but this one is super steamy.
What a coincidence! I finished watching it today and I really loved it. He acts very well. I also tried to find the name of the drama but I still can't find the name of the drama, I even went to Douyin and nothing. But he is very good.

Whenever I like an actor I start doing a little research. I entered his Weibo and felt very sad for him.
He vented by saying that doing short dramas wasn't really what he wanted but in the end he ended up accepting it. He explained that even though he tried so hard to upload videos and stuff, he still can't get a job and he was sad about it because he didn't know what else to do.

I really found it strange because he acts well, I met him recently for a short drama that is not here and he really acts very well and is very handsome.

I hope his situation improves in the future and he can get roles in dramas and not just mini-dramas.

So for real he's retiring
It's sad but it's the best for him. He has suffered too much despite being so young and it was literally his fans who pushed him to take that path.

If you go to his Weibo, you will realize what I am talking about. He honestly looked more and more unhappy, for his mental health it was the best path he could take.

Any reason for him leaving ?
The reality was much darker for him. He resisted too much, it's not that this industry wasn't for him, the fans literally made his life hell, it was even obvious that he was feeling more and more uncomfortable and less happy.

I am happy because he will be able to do what he wants and no one will hurt him anymore.
On Lai Kuan Lin Jun 23, 2024
Person Lai Kuan Lin
I would really like to explain what is happening and why Lai Kuan Lin made the decision to withdraw from the public eye and dedicate himself to being a director.

Let's start at the beginning, he dreamed of becoming an idol to help his mother financially, even though his father disagreed, he traveled to Korea and signed with Cube.

When he participated in the Produce 101 reality show, he was surprisingly included in the Wanna One project. I say surprising because he was very criticized at first and very shy for not being able to speak Korean so fluently. Likewise, despite all his suffering, he managed to stay in Wanna One, which made him gain a lot of popularity.

When Wanna One disbanded, a major conflict with Cube prematurely began. Keeping most of the profits, he sold the rights to it to a Chinese company called "Tazo", without his consent.
He had a large number of sasaeng fans (both in China and Korea), more on this later, and they didn't even care about his safety.
They exploited him to the maximum to the point that one day he was in one country and the next day in another. He didn't have any kind of rest.
When he was going to debut as a solo artist, Cube canceled everything even though the entire album was ready to be released.
When Lai Kuan Lin started the lawsuit in 2019, Cube paid a large amount of money to Naver to have his name not appear and even when he managed to win the lawsuit in 2021, Cube took care of paying Weibo so that it would not be talked about of the court's ruling in favor of Lai Kuan Lin and despiteall the atrocities that Cube had done against him, he paid Korean media so that Lai Kuan Lin would remain as another Chinese who "used" Korea to gain fame.

Even though he was in China, things did not get better for him. When he did his first drama and starred in the drama "A little thing called First Love." The fans were so upset and jealous that they started insulting Zhao Jin Mai, this is something that almost no one knows. So if you're wondering why there wasn't a kiss scene, even an innocent one, that's why. Even that made them both uncomfortable around each other. All because of the crazy Chinese fans.

This did not end there, unfortunately, he was caught smoking in public and throwing his cigarette in the street (probably if it were him they would have arrested me by now). Only because they saw a "pure" image of him when he was of legal age to smoke. Although he apologized, this did not calm the fans, and a large account of "fans" invented a girlfriend for him. Again he had to come out and clarify that this was not true and that he was busy with his work (when really what the hell does it matter if he has a girlfriend or not? but we all know and it is public knowledge that Chinese fans have no limits and believe that they are theirs. We have seen progress in accepting that idols or actors can publicly say that they are in a relationship in Korea, but this is unfortunately not normalized in China.

Lai Kuan Lin is only 22 years old but he has suffered too much in both Korea and China. So he decided to dedicate himself to what he likes most, which is being a director and staying out of the public eye.

In a Chinese documentary, in chapter 6 specifically he tells everything he had to suffer. I didn't allow him to eat or sleep and his schedule was brutal both physically and mentally. He himself explains that he thought it would be one thing and in the end it ended up being a horror for him. Which led to great disappointment and the thought of what he should do from now on.

With all this said, if you go to his Weibo (which has a black image because he will no longer be on social media) it is a disaster. Thousands of fans cursing him, telling him that he is ungrateful for not thinking "about his fans' feelings", that he should return their money and that they hope he fails as a director.

His agency was also angry with him for his decision. And they said the account was going to be handled by staff. I think Lai Kuan Lin will have already uninstalled Weibo and will not have read any comments, maybe some but not all. And unfortunately for these "fans" he has done very well in the two short films he has made. So I do firmly believe that he will become a great director.

He really had very good acting skills. It's a shame that everything ended in such a disastrous way for him.

But even if I don't see it, I will be supporting his career as a director and I think it was the healthiest decision for him. Unfortunately he did not share Luhan's fate. But this is due to several factors, Luhan is already 34 years old, so he already has a much stronger mentality. Second, he always knew how to put his fans in their place, he even gave a shit about the opinion of his fans when he announced his courtship, which has been going on for almost 8 years.

It's not that Lai Kuan Lin didn't stop his fans, he did it repeatedly but he always suffered collateral damage and was always attacked again by his fans. What I mean is that he is not even in his 30s, he still has a long way to go to reach that age. It is obvious that at his age they affect him even more than a man who is already 34 years old and is not far from turning 40. So it is obvious that one has more psychological resistance than the other.

Lai Kuan Lin has had to experience things that he should not have experienced even when he wasn't even in his 20s. Something that Luhan was already much older when he had to face him things.

Even on his Instagram you can only see one post from 2021. He has archived the rest. So I also think that all types of networks have been uninstalled. And I think that's okay, for his mental health.

You know at the end of the day, they are human beings just like you and me. I'm older than him I would have taken the same measures to protect my mental health.

Many fans do not understand that they are not their toys to satisfy their needs. No one forces them to buy things from him, so why should he please them when all he has received from them is abuse?

It even reminded me of Crush, when the protagonist didn't want his identity to be known because he didn't want people to interfere in his private life. Or a falling in your smile, when the protagonist was too afraid to tell the world that she was dating the protagonist. And even when he acknowledges his romance with her, she suffers great consequences and the protagonist feels so angry at himself for not being able to protect her from those crazy fans.

Sorry for the long text but I really wanted you to know the truth of things and everything that Lai Kuan Lin has suffered all these years.

You can be a fan of an idol or an actor and even love them, but that doesn't give you the right to want to manage their life or their decisions.

At the end of the day, Lai Kuan Lin didn't hurt anyone, he just took the path he firmly believes he wants to take. I will never really understand the Chinese fans, much less this situation that seems crazy to me. He didn't kill anyone, he just wants to stay away from the public eye, which has done him so much harm, and pursue his dreams of being a director.

When I got so deep into a drama for the first time was when I saw Crush, but there was no dubbing there. I know both actors so I knew they were their real voices.

I felt really stupid when I saw Falling in your smile because it was the first time I saw Xu Kai act and the dubbing was so well done that I thought it was his real voice, when I saw the behind the scenes and saw that neither Xu Kai nor cheng xiao, they had the same voice I felt completely stupidhahaha but the dubbing was supreme so it didn't bother me at all that he was dubbing. I think Chessman's voice was very in line with his character, just like Cheng Xiao's character, it was not loud or childish.

I knew that many Chinese people have a hard time speaking Chinese and also writing it correctly. I'm not Chinese, but I've studied a lot of Chinese and Korean so when I talk to friends they tell me "why do you speak Chinese/Korean so well? Are you of Chinese/Korean descent and haven't told us anything?"hahaha Although I must admit that sometimes it is difficult for me to understand them. And even more so when it is not a dialect that I speak by default.

I really don't mind the dubbing at all. Maybe I have a complaint and it is when the female protagonists' voices are made too shrill. That's a little annoying to me.

Title The 8 Show
I totally get u I just started the show bc I don't have something to see It was entertaining at first but then…
Completely. I'm too didn't really want to see it at first, but for some reason I ended up seeing it.

Really, people who say they love the eighth floor... I don't know, they must be psychopaths too.

I also understand those on the floor below, they didn't have as many resources and for how unintelligent they were, I don't even know how they survived so much.

Look here in my country there is a program called "Big Brother". It's about bringing in 50 people who you don't know and having them eliminate each other. In reality, this program is a psychological war, you weaken your opponent psychologically, such as fighting with that person to the point of verbal violence until that person explodes and is eliminated. Leave a character sidelined or even leave him without food. They are, I think (because I don't watch it, I only find out when my parents start watching television) for 6 months, completely isolated from the world.

They have to win weekly tests to get money to buy food. But there were times when they
They couldn't pass the tests and they only ate once a day, a very small portion.

People literally went crazy for this program, achieving ratings peaks that had not been achieved years ago. Why did that happen? For a participant, that she exercised psychological and verbal violence and people love her for that.

When she was eliminated, her fans went to hit and break the car of the other former participants. This really keeps happening, unfortunately.

Characters like the one on the eighth floor are glorified, as happened with this person.

I don't know when society got bored of seeing healthy and entertaining things and wanted to see isolated people betraying and weakening each other psychologically or physically.
We are simply in an era of a sick and decadent society. As you said, the human being is the most despicable being on the face of the earth because it is assumed that what differentiates us from animals is our "reasoning" and everything that entails that, but we are really worse than animals.
Animals do it out of instinct and to survive, but humans harm others simply for fun.

Did you know that we the viewers are also considered watchers that influenced the game by watching it we influenced…
Exactly, I agree with you too. It depends with what intentions you watch the drama.

If you really enjoyed watching the torture on the first floors, then you become part of that morbid audience.

If, on the other hand, it was really difficult for you to see this (how they hit and almost disfigured the girl's face with short hair or how the girl in the eighth grade made them not sleep and it was really a great psychological torture, that I had to stop it, In fact I mostly skipped that part becauseI thought it was too crazy), it doesn't entertain you and in the end it leaves you, or at least me, with a reflection where everything goes for the rating and the sick society we are living in in this era, it turns you into a kind of spectator drama critic.

For example, many have said that Battle Royale is a cult work. I haven't seen it and I don't think I ever will. Actually, the original writer did not create this work with a sociological mentality or wanted to give a message. No, that's why its publication was initially rejected.

Afterwards, the director encouraged the kids to sneak out and watch the movie, even though the Japanese government had banned it for teenagers.

And when what happened about the girl who killed her School partner , when she was only 12 years old, just because she had become obsessed with this movie. It really was a big NO for me.

The director did not even regret the consequences of this event. He only delayed the second film until the controversy died down. So for me that is seeing something as morbid and not even a clear message is given, from what I understand. It will be a cult work for those who enjoy this type of bloody movies for free, but personally and even if I haven't seen it, it gives a very dangerous message.

Do you know what happened to F4 Thailand? That they had a director who first made them meet and created a true…
I have seen until practically, even Tu tells a funny anecdote, that it was a little awkward at the beginning with Bright because the first scene they practiced was a fight between the two.

The director made them participate in games so that the relationship between the four of them would be seen as a genuine relationship of friendship. Just like Tu with Prim. They had a lot of preparation before starting to act.

The director himself said that it was a little difficult for Dew, because he was the lowest link in terms of acting. That's why he made him practice.

I've seen the behind the scenes because I really like the dynamic that everyone had with everyone.

I'm not really going to recommend watching Faceless Love, I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy.
But Dew hasn't had a single one, well in F4 yes, decent actings.

Prim is decent, let's say. She and Win have great chemistry, which was seen again in Stigma. But there's just no chemistry between Dew and her. And she doesn't stick anything to the paper.

I think this is happening because GMMTV releases and releases remakes without stopping, without paying close attention to the casting or how they are going to direct the story well. Look at Beauty Newbie, it was a disaster.

I really don't want to offend anyone, really. I love the actors but I think that in the second part, meaningless things happen and the end... damn I didn't want to cry so much. I think the era of Makjang dramas is over.

And I feel so guilty and sad for not being able to enjoy this drama, because I love both actors

I personally didn't like the Korean version, I think the actress tried too hard to be "cute" and it showed. I'm wouldn't say i'm hated him, just that i'm wouldn't look at him again.

And maybe it's hateful to compare versions, but when you really like a drama, it's really hard not to compare even if you don't want to, you end up doing it instinctively.

i liked the Chinese version most..i feel like the actors can't act well in Thai version!!😑i liked their acting…
Do you know what happened to F4 Thailand? That they had a director who first made them meet and created a true connection so they could convey it well in the drama. Then he made them practice long before they started performing. That's why it took a long time to be released, because the director was training them to give good results.

Even behind the scenes, you can see how the director makes Dew practice on his breaks. Because he was the weakest link in terms of acting among everyone.

That is why we obtained good performance results. But there won't always be a director who will guide you and tell you "do it again because it didn't turn out well."

Dew urgently needs acting classes. And Prim is not an extraordinary actress, what happens is that the essence of her does not fit with her character, she does not have that "cute" vibe, you know. And there is also no chemistry between them, to make things worse.

GMMTV has other good actors and actresses who would have acted well and would have had chemistry but they insist on continuing to cast Dew, when in Faceless Love it was clearly seen that he doesn't know how to act.
Replying to ariasmiling Jun 17, 2024
I believe the same. I've never seen Tu interact with Win in another drama, so I'm not sure how this is going to…
Totally and absolutely true. I didn't really know this was happening either until I saw a video on YouTube of a girl who speaks Spanish. When I saw it I was really like "what the fuck is going on in your head?" This girl looked so desolate and sad, as if a family member had died. I swear on my parents. And there were many people asking her if she was okay??? Just because she created such a big fantasy in her head that they were a couple and that they supposedly had such "true" chemistry, she even said that she wouldn't watch any more Bright projects until she "assimilated" the situation, WTF. But he would focus only on Win because he hadn't done anything wrong lol and he thought it was disrespectful that Bright had not announced in advance that he had a girlfriend, until he was discovered by a magazine in Japan. As if Bright had to constantly give them explanations of what is happening in his personal life? That's not normal, it's insane!

They forget that Bright is a human being, and has the right to keep his private life private despite being an artist.

I really believe that Bright and Win did not distance themselves, it's just that seeing all this, perhaps they prefer to keep their friendship private so as not to generate more hate towards Bright.

You know there is nothing wrong with being homosexual but wanting a person to be so by force and assuming their sexuality for your fantasy is not good at all.

This girl is a textbook fan stalker, because she just wants to go to Thailand to follow her favorite BL actors. She only thinks about that. In the BL and nothing else.

I also hope that even though he has lost a lot of support, he will do very well. Although many attacked him for creating a company because they say that he does not sing, when he does sing and that he half acts, when he really acts well. I really wish Bright with all my heart that him do well in your projects.

I really thought that only Thai women were this toxic but when I saw the reactions of people who speak English and Spanish I realized that this spread like a virus. I really don't know what's going on in their heads, but it's not healthy at all.

I think the same, those who leave destructive comments, which even involve the artist's family, should be punished by law and not be considered unpunished. But Thailand doesn't have those laws, unfortunately.

Did you know that we the viewers are also considered watchers that influenced the game by watching it we influenced…
Actually I wasn't saying it because of you, because of the issue of sadism, but because of the second review that calls us sadists. That doesn't make sense, because of all the things I told you before.
Yes, it's true, we were spectators because we saw the drama. Actually, when you raised that point, I thought for a long time if I was part of this too. But since it was a pre-recorded drama and I didn't really have fun at any point, I did a sociological analysis. I took it as a reflection drama.

Of course you have every right to think that nothing makes sense. When I read the synopsis I also already knew what I would find, but seeing the brutality of those on the first floors reaffirmed to me that people do any kind of things, crossing all the limits of what a human being should not do, just to win money.
In reality, the protagonist at the beginning was also like this, not to the point of reaching the level of those on the first floors. For example, with the question of coins, at first he only He thought of himself and not of others and then he thought about how many coins the others would ask for.
The question of breaking cameras doesn't really make much sense if you think about it. When they tortured them they could have also broken all the cameras, but if you look deeper what motivated them was the death of number 10. It really affected him too much and he broke everything so that time would stop and no one else could continue seeing them and escape from the game, he desperately asked for help so that number 10 would not die and seeing that they did nothing and that the public would stop giving them more time. That was his limit as a person, then we see how it affected him psychologically, he slept a lot and tried to commit suicide out of guilt. So the only thing he could do to redeem himself was hold a funeral and try to contact the participants and the family. Although he didn't go to the funeral, everyone knew, from the description his wife gave, they knew who gave him so much money so that they could live their entire lives comfortably. He also tried to redeem himself in some way.
I think if you look at it that way, it makes sense. But if you think that doesn't make sense either and that the cameras were meant to give it a dramatic twist, that's totally respectable because it's your opinion. I can give you my opinion, what I think and reflect, but I do not try to change your opinion. I respect that because you have been very respectful in terms of giving your point of view.
