I totally agree with you. Because of toxic fans I'm afraid to say the truth, I always get rude replies for no…
Really? How strange that they haven't chosen Tu. She is a good actress and has chemistry with Dew, surely if they had chosen her this wouldn't be so disastrous.

It's weird because Tu hasn't had that many roles, I think she's only worked on 5 projects and Prim on 15.

when watching I always told myself "wow this series is very clever" they touched SO MANY social issues in such…
Exactly, the problem is that people want everything to be perfect, when not even the squid game is perfect. It has several flaws and its message is not as strong as it is here.

Here is a reality, quite crude and morbid, I will put the case of Nasubi. Nobody was interested in who he was, 180 thousand spectators came to see how the poor man was tortured and deceived by the production. What good did he do to you? You are welcome. He could never be a comedian and it even left him with psychological consequences.

Clearly I can do a more sociological and psychological analysis but it would be very long and extensive to explain.

People who criticize this drama wonder why it went from something innocent to something so violent. Simple, it is seen that the innocent thing they were doing was not very attractive to the public and some, those on the upper floors, realized that with psychological and physical torture they gained more time. Why did they want it to last so long? Because his ambition had no limits. They had become so dehumanized that they no longer cared how far they would go. And the public loved that. Because what is healthy and common no longer entertains society, they need drama and fights and they enjoy that.

They criticized the girl on the 5th floor for being "soft" but they also complained that the others were violent just because. That's too contradictory.

At least the people on the lower floors didn't lose their humanity. And it is clearly shown that the protagonist suffers many psychological consequences.

For example, in Korea it is now popular to bring in ex-partners and exchange them and some have had very out of place comments with their ex-partners. Also the program where you see married couples with problems and there is a lot of drama, but people continue to consume it.

We who saw the drama, which seems like fiction but is not because it is what happens in today's society, are called "sadists", when this is not about that. It's about making ourselves see the rotten society we live in and giving us a slap in the face of reality.

If people want not to see that this happens, exists and continues to occur, it is not our problem.
In addition, they complain about sadism and brutality, when in the squid game, there came a point where they couldn't sleep because they knew they were going to be killed by other contestants. Even there the winner had to kill the last one remaining. So what sadism are they talking about? lol

At least here they didn't have that rule, it was those on the upper floors who decided to do brutal things to save time.

So some of your criticisms seem unfounded to me. They always repeat everything like parrots but don't give a consistent argument that makes me think why they dislike so much and not the squid game, when it was bloodier. And his message was not as clear as it is here.

I'm sorry you're afraid to comment because of the toxic fans. I think regardless of whether you are a fan or not. You must respectfully accept the opinion of others.

Personally, I'm not afraid of toxic fans. I have clashed a lot with the fans of the Beauty Newbie actors and then they agree with me, ironic lol

Clearly the success of the dramas you mentioned was because the director knew how to point out the actors' mistakes and directed things well.

But there is no salvation here. I'm so sorry, I like Dew but he really needs acting classes urgently.

And Prim, it's true, it's not a big deal, she still has a lot to learn. But the big problem is that she doesn't fit the character at all, plus she always seems upset and her facial expressions show it and they don't have chemistry at all. Whoever says they have it should prove to me otherwise because I don't see it anywhere. There is the factor that she does not have the "cute" style, which works against her a lot. The character is supposed to appear physically tender but Prim is more suited to roles with a strong character. She is beautiful and I don't know how to argue with that, but her appearance doesn't match the character. It was a bad choice to cast her, GMMTV has many actresses with that look, for example, Love Pattranite. She really fits the character well because she gives off those vibes.

Thank you for sharing your honest opinion as well, and feel free to comment. You do it with a lot of respect so people have no right to attack you. When something is wrong, it is wrong and that's it.

Normally when i'm left my review, I'm don't put comments.
.. but the first reviews, are you kidding me?

Those of us who enjoy watching this series are not sadists or anything like that, there were moments where I had to stop watching it and take a break because the psychological torture ended up exhausting me.

Why is nothing known about the lives of other protagonists? Because that's the point. Reality viewers don't care about their lives or their names, they just want to enjoy a "good show."

The protagonist recognizes that the weakest group is not intelligent. They only had number 7. And as it turned out, number 1 was quite intelligent.

Violence does not come for free, the highest numbers realize that torture was more interesting than the games they originally proposed to save time. And let's add that they were very violent people in themselves.

The message is clear and forceful, do they need it written down like children on paper so they can understand what this is about?

They just want to deny that these reality shows exist. Have they not seen or heard about the reality shows they do in Japan? That man who was locked in a room for months without supplies until he considered his animal a stuffed animal because they had already broken his mind and the reality show had very high rating peaks?

Of course this is not normal but it happens. Or should I mention the Argentine reality show, Big Brother, which has taken measures due to the psychological and verbal violence that a female participant exerts on her colleagues? They even brought in a dog that was abused and had to be very careful and this participant even kicked it. The home asked in a thousand ways to remove the animal but they did not want to, until social pressure made them have to return it.

And yet people still want her to stay in the house. Isn't that ridiculous or incoherent? Yes it is, but there is a clear example that people enjoy psychological violence.

Is there a why? No, it just happened that way and his fans are even more violent.

Yes, with the example I gave you, you still don't understand the message I give you, you are stupid.

The squid game was aimed at training the rich. Not here.

I hope GMMTV NEVER thinks about playing or thinking about making a remake of Falling Into Your Smile, because then I'm going to get really pissed off.
On A Love So Beautiful Jun 11, 2024
And I want to say that I was just as hard on the Korean version, which flopped, and also on the Korean version of Faceless Love, which actually comes from the original Rich Man, Poor Woman series. No one could surpass Oguri Shun and Ishihara Satomi, I'm sorry but it's a reality. It actually makes me sad that when you search for the title, the Korean version appears, which is horrible, and not the Japanese one, which is a gem. Just like A Love So Beautiful, which appears before the original Chinese version.

Here we go again... GMMTV doesn't know how to stop, it's just making failed adaptations over and over again. Beauty newbie, faceless love, etc.

People who say "hahaha people only hate because they want it to be the same" is not true. I always use the example of F4 because it was the only remake they managed to do well and it had many changes. The point here is that the chosen actors were tested and practiced before filming, because the director wanted everything to go well. He made many corrections to Dew.

Dew has absolutely failed at acting and this is seen in Faceless Love. I think someone from GMMTV should put him in acting classes, because of his role in F4, I know he has potential and can be a great actor. But you won't always find a director who will guide you and tell you that you are doing wrong and tell you to improve.

Prim... it's the first time I've felt disappointed in her. Generally he acts well and has chemistry with his teammates but here he is not achieving it. She is supposed to be cute and very affectionate with the protagonist, she wants him to notice that he loves her and she does a lot of stupid things to achieve it.

But here... God, she's not tender or loving, her expression is always angry, like she's always upset about something.

I don't want to be too harsh, but I really don't expect anything from this remake, after the disappointment I had with Beauty Newbie

I am sorry, but it was terrible. It felt as if they just had a brief idea of the story line and they just improvised…
Cha Eun Woo has proven that as an actor he is not expressionless. It was the nature of his character, but when he got angry it was scary, just like when he was frustrated because Mi-rae didn't want to go out with him because "What will others think if I go out with you?" When he constantly confronts Sumi, letting her know that he knew she was consciously doing things to hurt Mi-rae

However, there was a lot of chemistry between Cha Eunwoo and Im Soo hyang. Even behind the scenes they joked a lot with each other and Chan Eunwoo helped her in her dance scenes. The chemistry they really had was felt, even when Kyung Seok was jealous hahaha

I agree with everything else you mention.
On Beauty Newbie Apr 2, 2024
There's something I forgot to put in the review, Liu hated Guy for absolutely nothing. Just for existing and having gone to the same school lol In the Korean drama Mi-rae, he didn't hate Kyung Seok, he just had some resentment towards him, due to misunderstandings. For example, about the perfume, he hated the perfume she used because it reminded him of his mother and also when she was sitting dancing at the bus station and he laughed, he laughed because he thought it was cute, but Mi-rae interpreted was making fun of her I loved the scene where they were in a bar and he told her that he wouldn't let her go until she explained to him what he had done in the past to make her distrust him. And there they solved the problem.

Kyung Seok was already in love with Mi-rae but Mi-rae's progress of how and why she fell in love with him was understood. Here Liu falls in love overnight, because she was with Saint more than Guy lol.

Anyway, I would only recommend this to a sadomasochistic person, who enjoys feeling frustrated all the time

I'm very sorry during this journey, which is finally over, that I have been hard on some users.

I just didn't understand why they hated the Korean version so much but this remake loved it when everything was a disaster. And I still don't understand it, because if you didn't like the original story, how can you like this remake?

No matter how much you are a fan of one of the actors, you always have to be critical. You don't have to like everything they do, simply because you are their fan. It's okay to acknowledge that the lead actors didn't act well, had no chemistry, and that the drama was a disaster.

Nobody wanted it to be exactly the same, that's ridiculous. But not that it was this disaster, at least that it was decent. But it wasn't even decent.

I already made my more extensive review. The only good thing I can say is that this torture is finally over.
On Beauty Newbie Apr 1, 2024
I can only say that Liu is still an idiot. After everything Faye has done to her she wants to continue being her friend. Why is she so obsessed with her? She doesn't love anyone, not even herself.

The fact that there really wasn't much reaction when she was exposed and yet they continue to support her, only the harmed one. They feed her toxic personality.

Although, both in the kdrama and in this version, i'm did't endorse sexual harassment or any type of harassment at all. Faye is frustrating and she only knows how to victimize herself and want to be the center of attention all the time but she does not deserve to be sexually harassed or have her cat stolen.

But I say again, Liu is a real idiot, he drives me crazy. She foolishly believed that Faye was going to listen to him, but she didn't because he didn't want to lose to her. Why does she insist on having a friendship with someone who clearly hates her? Faye knows that Liu is so stupid that she will never do anything against her, that's why she was confident and pretended not to want to break up with Win.

This only makes their behavior worse.

I know there are people who really like this drama. Always when we look at a remake, we don't want it to be exactly the same but we don't want it to change the story that much either.

I don't know, this episode seemed ridiculous to me. We're one chapter away from this ending but I haven't seen that Win and Liu have had any kind of romantic approach. There's just no chemistry. If they hadn't wasted so much time on Saint and Liu's unwarranted hatred of Win, we might have seen more of them righteous.

But they'll only show us a little of them at the end, because the problem with Faye has to be solved. Which makes this drama fail in almost everything.

You said you hate Korean version but admitted that you watch this because of your favorites. I don't understand how you can't like the original but it is there? It's simply because you are blinded by your fanaticism.

You criticized people who want "everything to be perfect" when it isn't.

I simply cannot take your opinion seriously because you are only talking about your fanaticism. You're not being judgmental and you're also not admitting that your favorites are acting badly here.

Win is my favorite but I am able to recognize that this drama is shit and his acting here is bad.

I really don't like it at all. Not the visual or anything.
Win has acting decently before but I think it was a bad choice to accept this role as well as the actress. I also hope they never work together again, because you really feel the awkwardness between them.

I'm not saying the Korean version doesn't have its flaws, it does but they aren't as horrible as this one. I also predicted when I saw the first episode that it was going to be a disaster.

I give it a 1 and if I could I would give it a 0. But there are people who still say that this is good only because they are blinded by fanaticism.

You're blinded by your fanaticism, so you just say "I watch this because my favorites are there." How can you watch this if you hate the original version when this thing even worse? Ah, yes because there are your favorites and you can't be critical and admit that your favorite is acting badly.

You talk about how we seek "perfection" and that is not the case. We just want something decent, with decent acting and a decent script. What all this drama lacks.

But since your favorites are, you can't be critical and you get angry with the people who are. Simply because we are highlighting the mistakes of your favorites

I want someone who is enjoying this disaster to explain to me what charm they see in it?

I don't want to make a will talking about why the Korean version is so much better.

But Win is acting very badly, and I don't know why, he usually acts decently. Prim acts out, has no expressions and is robotic.

The actress who plays Faye fails to reach the level of the actress who played Sua.

It's all so forced and ridiculous, I can't believe people enjoy this. Watching this series was a Chinese torture and there are two chapters left to resolve everything.

The story became something simplistic. Without any type of message or teaching. Without a doubt, it wins first place for the worst adaptation that the Thais could make.
