The film does not hide in presenting social themes that are extremely strong, such as homosexuality, the possible romantic relationship between step-siblings or between the ex-boyfriend of a deceased person and his brother, suicide, guilt, how to take steps forward facing problems and limits, and the fragile thread that sometimes exists between friendship and love. Generating controversy and having the ability to educate and offer a different point of view is an essential objective of 'Tropic Night'. Has Kim Hun, its director, set out to demonstrate that life is not simply black and white, and sometimes additions and subtractions can yield different results than expected?

I unfortunately cannot digest the possibility that one can find love in their deceased boyfriend's brother. It…
I don't think the kiss was on the first night. At that time they did not know each other, in addition to the mixed feelings between them. One blamed the other for his brother's death while the other blamed the suicidal man for being selfish for not valuing his life and ignoring the suffering he would leave behind. The film begins with the end, with the outcome, and then tells the story. Min Ki arrives, in his escape, to the place where he was kissed in one of his escapes when he was upset with what happened, touches his lips, and returns. He loves his brother's ex-boyfriend. And he arrives, while searching for it, at the same place. He understands that he was in that place, and returns to the beach to meet him again. The film breaks taboos and norms by reflecting delicate and rarely covered topics in world filmography. And let's add to this it is a homosexual romance.

They went to save Kim and they have to leave without Kim. They are going to save the child to obtain evidence from this (I don't know how that child who never appeared again in the entire series could have knowledge of such important evidence) and they have to flee without the child and without the evidence. Now they are going to steal the briefcase, two men have Winner unarmed, with his soul on fire on the floor, and they have to leave without the briefcase. But don't worry, the tests will fall into your hands without many problems. If I were Tony, I would eliminate, just in case, even the receipt or invoice for purchasing aspirin at the pharmacy.

Title Pit Babe Spoiler
It is not credible that the documents that would be the evidence against Tony are stored and transported in a briefcase. It is not logical that they are available to anyone. From what the man carrying the bag tells Way, Kenta is in charge of finding the bag and bringing it to Tony. And they'll put it back in a safe or something until another time when it's necessary to consult it again and Kenta comes back to get it. Too much transfer of such compromising documents. If Tony asked for the documents to eliminate them personally (which I doubt) and that's why the man brought the briefcase with the evidence, wouldn't it be logical to use several of his armed men to move the bag? Well, there is only one thug who suddenly emerges with a gun in hand and was quickly eliminated. Winner is not a bodyguard, but against all logic she offered more resistance.

Tony smells danger. He knows that they have united against him like never before. How can he despise his right-hand man, Kenta, who knows all his crimes right now? He despised Kim before and he immediately became part of the “enemy troops.” Doesn't Tony know that this is the only path Kenta would have if he refused his subordination? Wouldn't it be the right time to flatter and seduce your men? Or eliminate it, if it is a hindrance? Wouldn't it be the right time to eliminate the evidence against him? If Babe, Way and Alan already know where to find the evidence, how could he not? Also, how weak-minded and pathetic Kenta has always been. No, Kenta has another option: to stay with the other guards, demoted, in charge of protecting Tony and his fortress, but no longer from the position of privilege and power as until now. This will be the reason why he reconsiders and becomes “good.” They have designed a very ambiguous, ambivalent character: I don't want to betray “my dad” but he constantly disobeys and betrays him.

It is not credible that a person in a situation like the one Tony is in would hold an event to auction off children. In that case, an intelligent individual like him would wait for things to calm down.

Winner knows that Babe has superpowers. This reality for some reason and it is not known how it was leaked. In other words, it is common knowledge among Babe's rival athletes. How do ordinary people not object to competing in car races with people who would have advantages over them by having superior powers?

It's not believable that Jeff knows that Kenta helped him escape from Tony and hasn't told Babe, Alan, and so on. As far as we know, Tony is only selling children. They cannot know, due to their age, what is happening to them. Very well in their child mentality they are going to live with a family that adopted them. Now suddenly Tony will sell an adult like Jeff.

Will the series have a hidden message? How many of Tony's “sons” among the superpowered children are gay men today? Babe, Charlie, Jeff, Kenta, Pete, Way...? That is, the main characters with powers who were raised-educated by the person dedicated to human trafficking ended up being homosexuals. Is there a hidden message in this, simple coincidence or something of “destiny”?

I don't understand how Alan, a successful, rich businessman, owner of a racing car team, with a garage, a race track and mansions and, at the same time, aware of the constant threat that to him and his loved ones, residents as well, in his house, represents a guy like Tony, not having even the slightest security measure on his property. There anyone enters and “dispatches” at will, kidnapping even their favorite person. Not even the writer and director of the series believe this and they believe that we as viewers are going to believe and accept it.

Social networks and Japanese media are echoing and, since its premiere, they have selected the five best charms…
Well, you were the one who entered my comment with the purpose of saying something.
Simply put, you want to say something, but you don't really have what to say or how to say it.
Discussion, if a discussion exists or is in the air, I did not look for it.
In this case you do not act like a happy person. Your laughing emoticons denote the lack of arguments and how to develop a debate.

Yes. The classic "drama" of episode 11 to be resolved in a hurry in the next and final episode.

I don't think you are prepared for a serious and objective debate. The very fact of constantly using smiling emoticons makes your words less serious.

My initial objective was not to create controversy, but to defend a work that I like. My initial purpose was to talk about “great acting skills”, to assume a role and build a character and from there achieve “a credible interpretation” or the “construction” of the physical and psychological characteristics or traits of the character, of the personality of the characters. The final quality of the product will essentially rest on the construction or design of the characters by the scriptwriter. I am giving elements, starting not from my opinion directly, but from the Japanese fans and media, about why it is not a bad work, why there is chemistry between the two protagonists, why the drama has been a resounding success among the Japanese... The fact that it is an adaptation has nothing to do with whether or not there is chemistry or whether it is a good or bad work. Hair color is not decisive either. The fact that an actor plays the role of a citizen of another city or another country or region is not necessarily forcing the "appearance and personality supposedly of..." that city or country. Hideyoshi is from Tokyo and prepared by living with citizens from that region to incorporate expressive resources and idioms typical of Osaka into his language. He is the one who must speak as closely as possible to the local dialect. Not Soga. In Soga it is justified that he has been in Osaka for a short time and has not had time to learn it. Jun plays a character from Tokyo, but he is a native of the Kanagawa prefecture. Working and living in the capital has enabled him to master the way of speaking of the place. An actor plays a samurai or gunfighter character from the North American West and this is not It necessarily means that you are forcing your role or performance. Everything will depend on whether you acted well or not. You may even feel uncomfortable in the character but not show it.

so....are there no Americans in Thailand that can play Americans in Thai productions ?
Krommatha is the Thai guy working on Zendaya. This seems to be a social network with a strong presence of Thais. He is the only programmer. This situation serves to instruct Krommatha's directors to "keep an eye on" the most popular villain in Thailand on his vacation in Thailand and the cause of chaos with his publication. This is the link to unite the two protagonists. Krommatha's boss gave him a file on the villain to study so he could keep an eye on him. I would like the series to delve a little deeper into this topic, since Krommatha was always more interested in his vacations with his parents than in keeping an eye on FueangNakhon and, to make matters worse, he will fall in love with him. I mean at least tell him that I had that mission. Or it could be that FueangNakhon finds out through other means and this causes tensions between the two.

Did a 95 character response seem long to you? Not only advertising brochures achieve an informative function. A simple comment could be useful to present a series of reasoned ideas about a series, novel or other topic and thus bring it closer to people who might be interested.

If we ignore the student- teacher situation... how are all the characters so good at healthy, honest communication?
Toki is a very self-confident boy, with very high self-esteem. Very mature for his age. Toki is not a victim, and takes responsibility for his actions until the end. When he knew he was in love, he recognized his love for Shinji, despite living in a society where homosexuality is not legal. Nor did he have modesty or modesty to hide his feelings. He established friendships with people who were always around him and he didn't even notice them. Love made him grow as a person.
Sahara is not the archetype of the manipulator. He is a serious and responsible adult. He is aware of his strengths and weaknesses. He admits, with tears in his eyes, that he is afraid of losing the trust of others. His personality, sensible and calm, becomes one of the most rational, balanced and endearing in the BL universe. He constantly shows himself as Toki's friend or older brother, with a unique, wise, irreproachable behavior. He respects Toki-kun, gives him his space and freedom of decision. Their relationship is based on mutual respect, trust and friendship. There is healthy communication and complicity between the two. Everyone is happy with the person who is next to them. They both feel valued and their limits, both physical, emotional and sexual, are respected. In other words, Sahara-sensei and Toki-kun fit perfectly into the relationship established by them. They complement each other.

I don't mind age-gap even faux brothers troupe. Second couple doesn't bother me. They are neither blood related…
Toki will surely need the teacher's help (that is, giving him a sufficient grade) to pass Physical Education. His physique does not seem to me like that of a runner, an athlete, a boxer, a basketball player, soccer volleyball player or other team or individual sport.
Surely Toki-kun does not truly love Sahara, but rather feels admiration, curiosity or desire to possess something from his teacher, such as his knowledge and skills.
But Sahara-sensei doesn't love Toki either. He only feels basic sexual attraction, the pride of feeling important and admired by his student. It is evident that feeling that attraction from his disciple is exciting for him from a sexual and emotional point of view. I hope you can notice a strong dose of sarcasm in my words.

Healthy and honest communication is also present in Toki and Sahara's relationship as teacher-students. That has been one of the strengths of the series.
