That trailer has nothing to do with how the drama feels or looks, wth??? I’ve just watched it by curiosity after watching the first ep, and it actually spoiled a major part of the plot????? I’ll just pretend I didn’t see it
girl this was my first bl and i loved it 5 years ago, but tried rewatching it now cuz I didn’t have anything to watch and it’s sososo so bad T_T. Jesus christ what was I onto as a teen to have liked this???
It was fun, I liked the scenario changes they made, but the rythme was SO off. The movie was 2 minutes shorter…
“everything felt like a caricature of the og movie” you were so on point with this phrase. I share the same opinion. This version turned all the subtle meaningful moments of the og movie into unlaughble jokes. Such a waste of good actors and budget!!
The only thing i actually disliked abt this was that one homophobic scene with the guy in drag. But it’s good overall. The acting and some of the dialogue may be a bit dry, and the last ep was rushed (+ the way eunji and taehyun became amiable out of nowhere was very random), but the story is good which by itself elevates the show as a whole. I think the awkward way in which love between two closeted queers develops and the topic of mental illness were very well portrayed here.
Completely agree with you. Also I might get hate for this, but felt like there was also too much focus on the…
I guess the second couple was pretty bland in personality. Though I really liked how they matched aesthetically (they were a really pretty couple), the writer certainty could've given them less focus and wraped their story earlier. I think their arc in the 2nd ml's hometown was the most random one tbh. But, frankly speaking, even the main couple got boring after the 2nd half. The screenwriter really didn't seem to know how to wrap up these characters' relationships, sadly. And since I was so caught up with the bad script, I didn't really pay enough attention to their acting, so I can't say much abt it. But I did think tht the main ML didn't have a good enough range of expressions tho. He seemed to only know how to make the same 4 expressions throughout the whole drama 🥲
First half is really good and funny, got me all excited for the next episodes. Getting close to the end, though,…
tbh I think this one would have been better if it had remained a light love comedy with a fantasy twist, and just a little bit of drama, to the end. Things went downhill as they tried to lean more on the dramatic hero epic type of story.
First half is really good and funny, got me all excited for the next episodes. Getting close to the end, though, the writing gets worse, characters become more shallow, and the story doesn't really seem to get anywhere (there's lots of senseless scenes, dialogues and plots). Ending was pretty rushed too. Kinda disappointed me bc of how much fun the first half of the drama was. :/
oh jin seok lowkey reminds me of seventeen’s dino.
o finalzinho pelo menos é bom, mas a versão de taiwan em geral é bem melhor q essa
