Honestly, I'm glad princess is gone, the further the better. I wish ML letting the princess go was him cutting her off once and for all, but we all know if/when she needs help in the future, he will be there. She doesn't deserve a brother like him.
On the bright side, the romance between Ml and FL is fantastic. Saving each other, being there when the other needs them no matter what. She saved him at the cost of her injury, he defied a decree to stay with her. Perfect match.
Also doctor dad/Doctor Ling is pretty funny, nice comedic element.
The empress, so unbelievably sus, I think she's definitely poisoning the emperor. So many enemies surround ML, (some he doesn't even realize yet), and his sisters leaves him for another of his enemies, I feel for him. At least he has FL and good old Lu Ke.
Does anyone knows until when the heroine has amnesiac because I'm really anti about 'amnesia' tag
She gets amnesia from ep 1, but recovers very quickly her memories come back fast, pretty much remembers everything by ep 11ish. I normally don't like amnesia as well but its done well here because they don't drag it out.

Not sure, but also not just scripts. These cdramas are often showed to some people before they air, so spoilers get out like that sometimes. Like some reviewers in china, the actors and actresses, investors, stuff like that.
After watching ep 17, my god man. I know the princess isn't meant to be a villain, and I'm sure the writers will redeem her eventually, but my god, right now I hate her more than any of the villains so far (except maybe masked dude who we pretty much know who he is).
The nerve of her in ep 17, I know some people said she is not stupid. But it is possible to be calculating and deceitful but also stupid and naive at the same time. When it comes to her feelings for XJS, and her belief that she can change him and that he will treat her well just because they're married, she is most definitely naive and stupid for that. I am looking forward to her suffering, sometimes you don't know how good you have it, till you don't have it anymore. Only then will she realize how good she had it with ML protecting her, and her father indulging her.
Not to say I'm not enjoying the drama, so far I'm loving it, The ML and FL shine in this, loving everything about them. Especially how FL saved ML in ep 17 again, so bad ass her flowing red robe is iconic. We don't have ML continually saving FL or vice versa, they both save each other, a great balance, a perfect team. If anything, how I feel about the princess, just makes me want to watch the drama so much more, because I know karma is coming for her.
Top notch CGI, really like the landscapes and scenery, all look so good. The fighting and special effects are beautifully down and easy to follow while being engaging, just wish there were more/went on for longer. But still early, I'm sure there will be plenty more.
Haven't seen much of HMH before (maybe only like two of his other works, though both I enjoyed) but he plays his role really well, I think it suits him. I like how he transitions between playboy and flirty, to serious, a little bit emotionally traumatized and a cold blooded warrior. LYX plays her role well. We all know she can be cute, and she does that well here, but I also like her in more serious roles like My Journey to you, so I like her scheming, vengeful and serious side.
Wish they gave us more of the tournament at the beginning, hopefully we see it again. Would love to see FL makes a triumphant return at the next tournament. I like tournament arcs in general but we don't see much of them, so looking forward to more.
Mixed views on the comedy. For me, as I looked at the writers other works, I was expecting it, so maybe not as surprised as others. But at times can be a bit much. But I do believe it will be toned down later when things get serious and theres less/no more secrets between ML and FL.
