You want to put it on hold even after 5 ep's, then I think you better stop watchin, this ain't for ya, I was hooked…
I'm super romance-oriented when it comes to my shows. No offence to WuWu but they weren't super compelling to me. And at the beginning JiLu wasn't either. Then ep 8 happened and all of a sudden my JiLu interest shot up. The drama got so much better for me from then on lol
after 5 episode I don't know what to say π€π€¨π beautiful cgi, nice actors but still it didn't get me..…
Ep 1-6 were a bit of a struggle for me too, I was on the cusp of dropping the show but only pulled through and kept watching because I had a day off and nothing better to do. By ep 8 I was INVESTED. Definitely give it a chance beyond the first 6 eps. If you're not hooked by the end of ep 8 then maybe the show actually isn't for you π
Anyone noticed that the camera angle and editing of the last 3 episodes are so bad? Such a disappointment as all…
Yes, I was quite disappointed by the special effects and general CG usage for the final boss battle with LWY/JY. The rest of the show was so beautiful.
Just ordered the official merch novel and artbook, was quite pricey... hope it's worth the money but its basically the only thing that can curb the empty feeling right now after this show ended LOL
Why isn't anyone talking about the jiu ying that went inside star stone ? and how ji ling forget his past ?,is…
I'm assuming it went in and just got trapped in there. WSG's master did say if you couldn't get out you would just get flung into what is essentially a black hole. JL and LWY got out into a different universe.
I loved the series and I think I was able to follow along for most of the plot twists cause the answers would…
I think JL just doesn't exist in this world anymore either. Otherwise why wouldn't Li Jie remember who he was looking for? I'm assuming without JL, either YWH or another demon hunter became Chiwen's "spirit vessel" and without LWY around, Chiwen's plan went off without a hitch and the world was saved.
i feel romantic love always beat friendship ........ ji chan told ji ling that lu wuyi was only one who loves…
I think part of it was that even with the bros around, he was still clearly depressed/lonely. They referred to him as the Dragon Deity and respected him and treated him as such. As much as he loved them and they loved him, there was a certain boundary that none of them were willing to cross. Additionally, how I see it is:
Baize is willing to die for JL, but I don't think his motivation is 100% out of love for JL. He said it himself in his final battle, something along the lines of the fact that their loyalty to the sect keeps a glimmer of hope and light in the world. At the end he is thinking of the good of the world as he dies to keep JL safe. He is the only demon of the 4 that was never swayed by evil, because he just loves the world too much.
YWH was chasing a ghost. At the end of his life, you see that his happiest moment and the people he wanted to see the most was his family and his real younger brother. He did love JL and grew obsessed out of guilt, but JL was never his #1. I'm sure deep down JL was aware too.
Li Jie doesn't seem to have been able to smell the loneliness until after he merged with YWH, so I think that is more of a moot point. Yes he would sacrifice for JL. JL loved LJ too but I feel like part of JL is scared to get too close because LJ is mortal, and also because they need to upkeep the appearance of the Dragon Deity. LJ never crossed any lines in that aspect.
LWY on the other hand, did whatever she wanted to. Even when she wasn't sure he was JL, she kept calling him JL and treating him as such. She crossed boundaries. She was the only person he could be Ji Ling with. He wanted to keep a distance from her like with all the others but she wouldn't let him.
There was also no other ulterior motive for her doing all those things for him. She didn't want to save the world, she didn't want to upkeep his reputation (especially when she was so ready to steamroll over his 100+ years of aura farming), she didn't see anyone else in him, he was just JL to her and she loves JL. Literally one of the first things she said to him as the Dragon Deity was "are you lonely", "do you want me to stay and keep you company", she saw right through him. She made his loneliness fade away when nobody else could. And I think that's what made her so much more special than the others.
i think they both died...and wu zhiqi took the stone.....after the hurricane ended the stone became human tian…
ah ok you're right, I went back to check ep 13 and Tiandi appeared literally right after the hurricane ended. That's one question resolved I guess. But sad that we'll never know if MM loved DZ
I noticed one thing about the ending ..there is just one thing that bugged me... Can someone who watched the end…
He explained her name in the final time travel trip, but not as humans in the final final scene on the bridge. I saw some leaked script comments on social media saying that in the original script he was supposed to have remembered everything even as a human, but she didn't. But seems like they didn't keep that narrative for the show and neither of them remember each other in the end.
Sadly there was one burning question of mine that never got answered at the end. In the story of Dizhu and Manman, it was said that in the wake of the hurricane he ran off with the star stone and was never seen again. I still wonder what really happened. I'm assuming Dizhu died in the hurricane but where did Manman go, where did the stone go. And did he actually love her?? I mean I know JL said he thinks Manman did but I'm pretty sure that was just him trying to confess to LWY indirectly so his opinion doesn't count lol
Itβs the first time Iβm having this kinda feeling over a drama
I think the last time I felt even remotely like this was for love game in eastern fantasy, but by the time i picked it up the show had already finished airing so i wasnt deep into the conspiracy theories like with this show
