I actually think we were better off not knowing about Su Hyuk and Nam Ra's backgrounds in this season for a very…
that's actually a very interesting perspective, I never thought about it that way. I guess this would be the writer's way of keeping us on our toes and staying attached to the show even after the first season is done because we want to see more of these secondary characters interacting and building bonds as well as learn more about their past and the people around them.

that hug completely made me into a mess, it was so beautifully portrayed and the way hwal's bottled up emotions were expressed all in this one moment was so heart-breaking to watch. the vulnerability of the hug and the fact he couldn't see anything is what hit me the most. lee jin-wook only needed his body language to turn us all into a bawling mess

i'm so sad about that ending honestly... i hate that they left it so open and cheongsan...i hope he is still alive,…
honestly with this rising popularity and growing fanbase, if they don't make a second season they'll have to face the wrath of us ahahah

Su Hyeok x Nam Ra hard carried the show seriously. Why were they not the first leads. Missing Cheong San though.
100% agree, they did really really well. and although they were both main leads as well, i wish they had more scenes bc they brought so much chemistry and emotion!

i wish we could've seen more about soo-hyuk and nam-ra's background or even their family. i feel that would've helped us understand their character development more, especially soo-hyuk's since all we really know is that he was completely different in the past but has changed. but i really loved his character, although he might seem like the typical saviour in a post-apocalyptic world, his character feels so rare and intriguing.

Remember, she's the other half of a soul. She's the other half that doesn't remember her past lives. She did not…
Yeah I agree with you. Sang Woon's personality greatly contrasts from her twin's, even though we didnt see much of her twin we saw that she lived in constant misery, fear and paranoia. This makes sense as she was the only one that remembered everything from their past 7 reincarnations.

So the drastic difference in personality between the Sang Woon and her twin is understandable. She wasn't exposed to any solid proof of the horrors of their past nor does she have any recollection of it.

She didn't believe in any of it because her priority was Siho until suddenly everything started becoming very real, monsters started showing up in their way everytime she tries to learn more about her past, and now we can see that it's starting to impact her.

Now she has no choice but to face the fact that she could've potentially been a bloodthirsty bulgasal, who harmed innocent people and tore apart families.

I really enjoyed reading your perspective, gave me something to think about and add to hehe

idk about you guys but the dorm setting has significance for both sooho-youngro and many of the other characters. to me it makes sense for the story to be continued in the dorm bc it has a lot of loose ends and secrets, many of which we are yet to see like ms pi’s story, not to mention the whole sooho and youngro dynamic began here. the entire political-hostage situation relies on the dorm because it’s the place of complication, everything will be a mess as soon as they leave the dorm. we’ve also been walked through every inch of the dorm throughout the eps so i think it’s safe to say that they’re not leaving it anytime soon, but that also means we’ll see more about the secrets that are beginning to surface.

hmm I dont know how to feel about this drama at this point, the episodes are way too long, and not much is happening…
i feel like the chemistry is definitely there, but due to the political and hostage atmosphere there hasn’t been enough focus on the pair and their feelings. i would arguably say that their chemistry is on fire but it’s subtle and it would be misplaced if they fell in love in this current situation. young-ro’s anger and pain is justified and nothing can calm those boiling emotions down at the moment. but as the episodes progress we’ll probably see a shift in focus towards sooho and youngro as more revelations are made before the 9 days are over.

Title Bad and Crazy Spoiler
I figured it out early since most villains in police dramas are someone in leadership in the police force or prosecutors
yeah somehow i completely missed that, but the actors face seemed so innocent during the first few eps. and i thought the worst he could do is steal some drugs not betray everyone and murder/shoot people left and right

exactly!! so many people keep commenting about how they really like the lack of romance but it's literally been promoted as a kdrama with a romance theme since day 1 ahahaha

For Kim Hye Yoon.Should I watch Royal Inspector or Skycastle to see her shine? Also, noticed they changed her picture…
kim hye yoon did really well in Extraordinary You as well. personally that's one of her best performances, that kdrama also has other great actors and will definitely give you second lead syndrome ahaha.
