We don't really know what is he thinking by doing that to XLH. From the preview, I really need to know why he did that to XLH, it seems like he has a plan...but painful somehow.

I am here since day 1 of airing and there are no one who harshly bash other dramas in this page. The comment I saw most of time are people feeling disappointed about other drama, sometimes comparing but not to the point of where the main purpose of the comment is to spread hate voluntary but more constructive criticism. It is quite frequent to see some other people comparing LBFaD with these two dramas in their respective page too but as far as I know not to the extent of bashing as you mention. We have our own taste and preferences, and something that may be good for you may not be for others. From a subjective point of view, it's the best xianxia of 2022. Feel free to check it out :))

I don't know which episode you are in but ep21 explained it very well. To make it short, XLH is the reincarnation of goddess xiyun who is from the neutral Xishan tribe. They have the power of healing and reviving the dead. Also, their main task in life is to seal the evil ancient god Taisui to prevent the destruction of 3 realms.
