What a drama !!! Watching 8 episodes so far, and the direction of the story, visuals are just so on point. The first 2 episodes made me cry (I'm Chinese and the drama remind me of my family🤣, it's so so realistic), how they depict the overbearing grandma, but at the same time I can't help but have empathy towards her. The Cheng family drama is just so entertaining and made the story moving forward. Interactions are meaningful and characters have many depth. The mother while every call her evil do not know how to treat her child as she deserved nor give her the love she was yearning for all these years. But every mother is not the same and I'm quite impressed to witness a different side of such mother in historical drama. And Wu Lei, as general Ling Bu Yi, what a charismatic role since the long ballad. The admiration and love he had towards our FL is fire 🔥. Just seeing the look, the little hidden message or action, he's really into her. As Zhao Lu Si, I don't need to say anything. She nailed all her character as well. As the ugly duckling of the family, she is mischievous, smart and charming (no wonder every men are captivated by our CSS😏). I really love such unique FL.

No worry, I do love their amazing chemistry. It made me so crazy few days ago and till now, I still listen to the original ost just to watch them. But I did fall really hard for our ML :)). Yeah, it made me sad why the rating don't go up till now...maybe haters? and not a lot of people who have watched it, rate the drama.
