it's actually reallyy addictive😂 some characters are bit frustrating though, it's so fast paced with no dragging moments, adding a charismatic and smart ML, beautiful friendship, chemistry and even the annoying vilains made the plot moving forward. Just be prepared because your blood pressure will go up easily😂😂

As I said, it's just my preferences on angsty plot whether FL or ML chased after their lover first, I don't mind. For example in chinese unrequited love, it is quite the FL who suffered a lot and chased after ML, it became one of my favorite though. But again it's just my weird liking :))

I totally agree, I like it and I'm addicted even if there is a lot of angsty trope. I know I may be weird but, I love the genre when main character suffer a lot chasing after her lover (My level of anxiety has reached its max though). I guess chinese fan love angsty plot as well, it's no wonder xianxia genre get commercial success.
I am happy to hear that this drama is rated high in weibo search, finally shawn du can be widely recognized. This actor deserved a lot of praise.
