I'm not really fan of the instense love triangle genre as it became sometimes frustrating but it depends if it is executed well. ☺️ Yes, I think this drama is the first ever Chinese one with that theme.

Maybe you misunderstand because I only watch miss the dragon and meteor garden from DiDi.
I still need to watch ever night because I heard of its good review, I just know that part 2 with DiDi was not that successful compared to part 1.
However i need to decide by myself because some people just complained about the change of actor so it may have an impact on its success. That doesn't really tell anything about DiDi's acting, i heard actually good review about his acting when he took that role. Your mention about it strengthen my thoughts even more.

The two shameless vilains stay vilain and I love that. I still remember how vilain FL roasted general FL's clothings. I love Luo Qing's fashion style^^

It's okay, maybe it's not your cup of tea^^. I don't finish lot of her drama too because i'm not into rom com, but romance of tiger and rose was one of her biggest success same to long ballad (even if she was 2FL), both were really great watch for me.

I only watched these two dramas you mentionned lol, he played in ever night part 2 but the success was not that good compared to part 1 with chen fei yu. There is rational life too, but it's a noona romance and slow burn set in the office. Not really my cup of tea for 35 episodes
