listening to music or watching kdrama have nothing to do with ca. you really can't see the difference? it is not about language. black people are getting suspended, losing their jobs or getting discriminated because of their hair, because they are black. they are still facing serious issues and were tortured in the past. black people are still "thugs" "thieves" and "the ones with inappropriate language" in most peoples head. listening to music or watching movies from other countries is not the same. what's not clicking? I can't believe some people here. I see that you never experienced something like that. I don't hope you do. but it's not that hard to be more understanding and emphatic. so try it

kdramas get immediately cancelled when they portray korean history the wrong way. knetz are the best at this game. but when it comes to CA they suddenly can't see and it is all just "humor". if non asians try to make themselves have asian features it would be called out for what it is. so if you don't see the problem here then you should educate yourself.

imo the characters and their acting are amazing but I don't feel any chemistry between the mains. They are cute but idk I don't really ship them? also there is no plot. The writers are trying to be really deep with the conversations and all but actually it isn't. I didn't drop this drama yet, it's not that bad but I'm not impatiently waiting for new episodes. I'm more hyped for the gumiho episodes but judging from my kdrama experiences over the years the gumiho drama will become boring after 8 eps :'D

the point is that they really fall in love and I don't see it. I love hate to love tropes but this ain't it (imo)

there is no chemistry between the actors at all, not just the main characters. also the vibe and just everything feels off. maybe because of the lack of background music? idk but this kdrama feels so strange. also nothing really happens and every scene with the two of them feels forced and awkward
