right! and I felt like the time lapse and the other alpha in the picture didnt make much sense either honestly... sigh, it was a huge miss from the authors part indeed
To everyone who's finding Hua yong super manipulative, the thing is that's just how the novel is written. 2. some parts of his character where he's softer with SSY and the way his tone is consistent even after Shao You gets to know the truth, it's the fact that he's an enigma and that he's the owner of X holdings he hides. The novel is diabolical for more reasons, such as multiple occurrences of dub-con when either is in heat, so wait to unleash your fury, gets worse.
Gao Tu calling Shen Wen Lang out by his name when he got pissed off was probably my favorite interaction of theirs so far(not alot to pick from to begin with anyway :P)! Like it shows Gao Tu's personality more--- he is just someone who doesn't react unless needed and to him liking Shen Wen Lang is none of Wen Lang's business and later on he carries that attitude hahah
to everyone who's confused about wang shuo --- in the book he's a crazy maniac who's been getting treatment for being crazy.... he used to date chi then he made some tapes about the three of em cheating on each other (I dont remember exactly who--- think he made chi and guo sleep on the same bed too)---- Wei finds those tapes and brings to light what actually happened for guo and chi to reconcile ----- in the mean time Wei also starts worshipping wang's brother which drives chi mad crazy ---- chi and Wei are crazy af in the books------ but in the show I think they're just gonna make wang leaving suddenly as the main reason , and maybe make it look like wang and guo had a side thing going on to justify chi's anger towards them
Honestly I'm so impressed by the screenwriter for turning the novel which is lowkey messed up into this beautiful quirky yet romantic cutesy show!! Also loved the look Chi Cheng gave for Wu Suo Wei when he made the vivarium for his snake---- there's more meaningful gestures coming through in the show than the book and I'm here for it--- for chi Cheng, who's always been looked down upon by his family because of his snakes, which is sort of a part of him that people hesitate to embrace, I think it was so endearing to see Wu Suo Wei not give a single fuck bout it. To him the snakes are also a part of Chi Cheng, and he would treat and care for them as he would for Chi Cheng---- This is probably the moment when Chi Cheng truly falls for Wu Suo Wei I guess--- it was brought out so nicely!!! argh!! loved the look in his eyes!
bruh idk I feel like this show is too corny just watching it for the cast. everything is super extra but its not like we'e talking Bridgeton quality script
