IMO it actually was way better than the first part! the cinematography, the pace and definitely felt more engaging!! loved my main couple!!

GaoTu then asks ShenWenLang a few hypothetical questions and decides he's not going to accept the news well, keeps it to himself and tells him he's resigning. Despite GaoTu showing symptoms dumbass Shen wen lang doesnt realise he's pregnant or that he has feelings for GaoTu until he's gone. Hua Yong knows who Wenlang hooked up with and gives him clues to finding out but wenlang remains dense. Eventually WenLang realises his feelings and also finds out about the pregnancy but GaoTu is long gone. He comes close to meeting GaoTu thru his asshole dad, but GaoTu runs away from him. Then main couple story ends, and we have a time lapse. 2/3 years later, Wen lang and Gao Tu meet again at an amusement park when he's babysitting the main couple's kid, and then he's like oh my gawd. my love! ......then from there onwards the story is not explained quite well, almost as if the author got tired writing, and we have clues that WenLang is given a hard time by GaoTu in the next few extras but they end up together. Hence why their story is super frustrating. In between all of this, there's another alpha Gao Tu relies on for pheromones during the story as well!

So GaoTu has been in love with Wenlang forever but Wenlang hates omegas because of his parents' toxic relationship, so GaoTu pretends to be a Beta so he can stay by his side. One fine summer evening Wenlang gets drunk, and ends up having sex with GaoTu, but he has no recollection of it. Gao Tu finds out he's pregnant. Wanna know more?

I feel so bad for everyone rooting for the second male lead couple, because in the book theirs was the most frustrating story and it progressed pretty fast later on with a time lapse

As someone who's read alot of ABO I know how hard it is to sometimes even convince a reader to consider switching someone you think is an omega to someone powerful like an alpha--- but Hua Yong and Sheng ShaoYou is so perfectly casted that it's so easy to imagine the turn in power play!! It's off to a great start fr!! I just hope they‘ll give two episodes a week!!
