Spring of Youth Episode 1

Saw this on my netflix recommendations and I found the cast and the vibes of the kdrama overall to be really refreshing. Last time I enjoyed a idol type of music drama was Imitation and as for a youthful one, it was Cheer up. So I had some hopes in this one. But so far plot-wise, it isn't the best. It's just not my cup of tea at the moment. To see the male lead cause ruckus and his ceo acting petty over this. Like I get that there's a connection between him to the female lead as well but it's not the best way from the start of episode 1 to see him doing random things to keep both male and female lead apart. But both lead characters are stubborn and just doing things on their own pace so lol. But I guess that's what keeps the plot going for me to actually watch it since the lead characters are pretty interesting. Even if the drama made them a combo of many tropes, I just find the way they are pretty funny in a good way. I didn't know the male lead actor is younger than most of the cast here but I should say that he is pretty good seeing that this is his only 2nd project. The rest of the cast is fine. Oh yeah the 2nd male lead I liked him in Shooting stars a lot and I heard he was great in Lovely runner, but seeing him here, yeah he's annoying but it proves he's just that good. I heard this is a one week episode drama so I guess this will take a while, so far it's not my fave plot especially the part of the male lead and his job, including the college students who are acting petty too even if they are money-driven for that part, I just find it immature. Maybe it'll get better but it's intriguing. I'd say it's not bad to give it a watch since everyone has different tastes.
