The trailer gives off mega cringy 2015 Taiwanese drama vibes lol.

I think they both fell for each other at the same time. Defo no slap kiss at all or abuse! However they don’t confess their feelings till like second half of the drama and which makes the anticipation so thrilling cos of their insane chemistry!

well yes my prediction was correct lmao. I finsihed the drama now and yes once they get back to civilisation, a few misunderstandings happen. Not to worry cos the ending was good the villains got what they deserved!

I watched the first ep, not sure if I wanna continue it but I was looking forward to the plot. Since ur upto ep16, has the assistant revealed his identity yet?? That’s the part I’m interested in

I disagree and agree lmao. Yes ultimately Tian Xing is his own person. There is a reason why his inner “AoRan” personality never showed up, whether it was coS of childhood trauma or whatever, Tian Xing can’t just suddenly embrace his inner AoRan. Maybe Aoran is just an reminder of what Tian Xing could of become, but he didn’t and now Aoran just isn’t a possibility for Tian Xing anymore.

However at the same time, I feel like TX is AR. AR is apart of TX, TX just never showed that side until XE brought out the AR in TX.

Overall for me, I could see that TX was AR, but I guess it depends on ur own interpretation.

wait omg!! That’s her? I watched Accidentally in Love, her hair was bit frizzy, but I still liked her there. I think it’s the length of her hair here. Also I’m sick of seeing the clumsy FL troupe :/

this will be subbed since YouKu subs most of it dramas. Hm I saw the trailer, it’s another overbearing CEO falls in love with newbie clumsy worker drama. Not the biggest fan of ML after seeing him in Well Dominated Love. The FL’s hair here is also not the best hairstyle, think I will give it a miss.

the MDL synopsis for romance of Hua rong season 2 is gonna be another roller coaster. I thought they were finally gonna settle down in their private “Hua Rong” island and have kids but nope, more imperials court affairs and arranged marriages. Can’t wait tho! I rlly like these MLs, they are always head over heels for the FL, plus they are actually smarter then the villains!

I remember after Shen Zi pushed Shen Jin, all the General did was put out word that Shen Zi is not allowed a foot in the General’s Household, this was supposed to stop future suitors for Shen Zi. But looks like she got married in the end anyway aha. Also did the sisters get no punishment for hiring that pregnant brothel women?? Plus the fact that it was Shen Zi’s fault that they got thrown in a the dungeon in the first place! She should of kept her mouth SHUT!

I kind of figured out who the main villain was myself before they revealed it. But I’m just confused as to why the emperor let out word that the General must be killed, when the “betraying the country” plot was just a agreement between the emperor and General.

Also I don’t understand what the jade box, the fragrances or that plant has to do with anything?? Ok so that orb thing exploded and “killed” the 8th prince. So why all these other weird clues....

These light hearted historical rom coms rarely get second seasons. I highly doubt it, most dramas that are lucky enough to get second seasons are often produced by MTGV or Tencent cos they have more consumers. Also if there was a. second season, it wouldn’t be announced until a few months after the drama has ended cos they looks at the views and popularity. If anything sleepless princess is more likely to have a second season because that one rlly blew up. I totally lost interest in SP cos of annoying Xue Yao. MLs in dramas like Oh My Sweet Liar and General’s Lady are sooo much better!

There’s this historical rom com that I rlly liked called The Romance of Hua Rong, it airred back in January. It was very low budget but it was produced by MGTV and this one was rlly rlly popular. And now they started filming a second season! Extremely rare but I’m glad :D

yeah surely the last few minutes were just fillers? How likely is that the son of the ex crown prince who was presumed dead for 16 years becomes emperor?? Not to mention that Xiu Yuan has been like a deputy general his whole life and he probs has no idea how to run a kingdom! And we all know that as an emperor Xiu Yuan will be forced to get concubines and consorts in the future, poor Ruo Nan.

Exactly, the evil sister did so many terrible things and even in the prison they were still bad mouthing Jin Er! There were never punished for their evil deeds! And plus that father is so incompetent!

Regarding sand room scene, there was moment where the room suddenly became lighter/brighter! I think this meant that Su Su opened the trap door, still unsure how exactly he pulled them out of the sand tho lmao.

That modern day scene was a pleasant surprise LOL. they rlly pulled the “it was all a story/script” card last minute. I didn’t expect that in this drama.

Regardless, I’m glad that the angst here wasn’t as bad as dramas like Sleepless Princess, where it rlly went downhill.

OMG I just watched ep30 and there’s an modern day plot twist lmao. Ngl I liked this drama a lot more then I thought I would. A lot of things doesn’t make sense but it was nice light hearted rom com with the usual c drama troupes and low angst. The drama does focus on the romance mainly and then all the court affairs or like death of the Aunty isn’t revealed till last few episodes. If ur willing to look past the FL’s immaturity, then it is a pretty enjoyable drama. The ML spoils the FL like crazy :D

bro I thought these two were already married tho lmao. sigh I loved the first season, but the second season sounds like a ton of unnecessary annoying angst.
