it’s similar to the k drama, w two worlds. It’s the power of the universe/story world. ML obviously sent it to FL, but the universe changed it so it sent to chuchu. As seen in the k drama, everything happens for a reason and if somth changes then the whole plot of the story world starts to get pretty crazy. The story might get a mind of its own because the characters are breaking out of their character roles.

There is question I have tho. In the original dream it appears that the ML is drugged and that su nan nan is seducing him. However in reality even if the FL never meddled, su nan nan was never planning on drugging the ML. I don’t understand how the FL changed the dream then because thsi dream was never possible in the first place without some tweaking.

Yeah su nan nan isn’t a big threat, and I kinda ship her with the other guy aha who she flashed.

Yeah if it was 24 episodes I wouldn’t be worried but with 35eps, there’s plenty of ways it could go wrong.

Lmao yes My mind is racing and I’m trying to piece together the whole drama lmao. But I might just leave it at that for now... I definitely think that the MVs and trailers are definitely overexggerating the sadness lmao. This is a lighthearted drama so imma pray the conflict only lasts for 2 episodes max lmao. AHHA true but I don’t think the dreams work like that. It has to be the exact same and it has to be su nan nan.

some of the comments here have reminded me of the first episode. I guess we do know the ending already, she’s uses up all her chances and falls into a deep sleep. Now we just have to hope that at the end of this story she wakes up. Good to know that the ML WILL ALWAYS BE BY HER SIDE THO :)

I’m glad that my theory makes sense to others too aha. I’m also happy to hear that brother might still be alive because hopefully when the ML misunderstands that the FL killed the brother, the brother can show up and clarify that it wasn’t the FL. And then ofc there’s still the problem of the second wife UGHHH. But it looks like the FL will be turning into a pig in the upcoming episode lmao

Do u remember when I first mentioned the “dead” brother and women on Ice theory to you! I’m taking back this theory now after watching episode 13, and hearing what the hooded man says, it appears that, that man isn’t the dead brother. I now think that he was responsible for the death of the brother and maybe the dead brother and him liked the same women, which is why he killed the brother.

wow I can’t imagine writing a whole summary for each episode. As a viewer watching it raw and understanding it, I was just helping ppl by answering their questions. But go you! My advice to u is that u put these episode summaries in the recent discussions so it doesn’t get lost in the comments, just in case MDL doesn’t approve of the episode guide!

The ending was cute but I hate how they didn’t address that the ML regained his memory.

I didn’t realise so Many ppl were watching this without understanding chinese or having eng subs lmao. I’ll do my best to answer ur questions. I guess I’m very lucky to be able to understand chinese (most of the time)

1. I think so, the fact that the princess is adopted is not a rlly a secret, however it’s not talked about much. With that said the general probably knows the prince isn’t her real brother. ATM I don’t think he is at the Jealous stage yet and the general doesn’t rlly see the prince as a worthy love rival
2. The general doesn’t know about the FL’s insomnia/secret seeing the future ability. The reason he accompanied her to sleep was because he thought another man took her innocence without a her consent and that the general thought the FL might be scared to be alone now so he decided to comfort her. (she didn’t actually get her innocence taken btw, the general just thought that)
3. A prince from another state I believe or someone important anyway, originally the king wanted the princess to marry him. However the SML (another prince) wanted to help the princess because she obvious did not want to marry that prince from the other state. So the SML sent an ugly portrait of the princess to the prince from another state, then that prince cancelled the marriage proposal coS he thought she was ugly. Anyway later on that prince from another state found out she was actually pretty and he like a pervert anyway, so he kidnaps her as shown in ep 6. He was hoping to take advantage of her and take her back to his state, fortunately the general rescued her! However this why the general thought that the FL lost her innocent to that kidnapper. Dw this gets cleared up later on!

A couple things that went wrong :/
- the casting it’s not so much the age gap but the fact there is just no chemistry. U can literally see that the leads are clearly from two different eras lmao.
- The airing, this drama has been postponed for far too long to have finally aired now. This is why dramas should stick to the og release date and refrain from postponing for MONTHS
- The ML’s dubbed voice sounds very depressing
- Editing not so good

Had potential like the storyline is very nice but yikes not feeling it ;(

lmao I just realised I accidentally deleted my comment!! So sad, I wrote so much. Hmm I didn’t realise that about the young boy. I’m watching a few other drama at the same time too but most of them are a no brainer. So I guess I used all my thinking in this drama lmao and to me this was quite obvious. I’m also watching lost romance and that dramas definitely had me thinking a lot too!

I can’t imagine watching a drama without subs and not knowing the language either lmao. But I admire ur efforts lol. I’ll do my best to answer ur questions. The emperor wants to her to marry the ML coS the ML is a general who has a lot of authority over the imperial army. So the emperor fears that the ML might overthrow him one day so by making him marry the princess, he can’t betray the emperor anymore. The ML agrees to marry her because the ML has a brother who has “died” and believes his brother died coS of the upper powers and he thinks the kidnappers who tried to kidnap princess are leads to his “dead” brother so he decides to keep the princess by his side. The reason she turns into a rat is because she has this fortune telling stone inside her (there was a scene where the stone flew into her mouth when she was a child). Each time she sleeps at night, she will dream and her dream is actually a prediction of the future. That’s why she doesn’t sleep until a certain hour because she doesn’t want to see the future. So yes basically insomnia I guess. And when she tries to alter the the future she turns into an animal. @cADAVEr also spoke a bit about this. The ML doesn’t know that she has these powers because she hides from him. However the ML is suspicious and wary of her because he thinks she might be a spy from the emperor and he doesn’t know where her alliance stands. The maid and like the SML (the prince) know about the princess’s secrets because they are a close group of friends who grew up together and basically they wish to leave the royal life behind and become free willed villagers.

do u have any thoughts about the brother? I’m kinda predicting that the “dead” brother of ML was the person who wanted to kidnap the princess. And that the brother is the hooded figure who wants to save the women on ice.

I’m pretty sure it was actually a rat that she turned into. Because it follows the Chinese zodiac basically she has already turned into an animal 9 times in the past and this time (the tenth time) she turned into rat. Judging from the trailers she will be a pig next time. They also mentioned into the drama that it’s not good for her to changed into animals and that somth terrible will happen when she turns into an animal for the 12th time coS that is the last animal.

I have two theories on that:
1. It’s cos everyone else has a counterpart character, however there is only one Xiao En and sadly I believe there is only one QingFeng. Therefore on the other side of the poster they are excluded.
2. It’s coS they couldn’t fit xiao en and Qing Feng in lmAo. If u look closely u would see that they are cropped out, and if u were to Include xiao en and Qing Feng then that means that Ao Ran and He Ming li’s head would of been moved further up and behind the Lost Romance title.
However if my theory 1 is correct then does that mean that He Ming Li’s counter part will show up in the story world?

Was the ML’s voice dubbed or like.... because his voice is awfully soft, calm, low and just sounds depressing lmao.
