I just watched the trailer and it looks like we were pretty spot on. Additionally there’s that plot where a wealthy businessman attempts to sexually assault the FL and then FL offends him. Then the shareholders want to fire the FL, however the ML stands up for her. And the company’s image is damaged heavily and they are attacked by the media. Then the Shareholders threaten to remove the ML’s CEO position. LMAO I could see this coming from a mile away!

the FL is a time traveller, however the focus isn’t the time travelling/identity crisis, it’s more about her growing stronger/powerful through magic cultivation and her waking up her master who is in coma. The time travelling plot is only mentioned once at the start of the drama and once at the end. They only ever *suggest* that she’s from another world thru subtle clues, however we are never given any more information and we don’t ever see her in the modern world either.

1. Let’s be real, if I had the ability to travel into the drama, I would seriously scream at NaXi and mince her words. hello girl please stop romanticising ur every experience. And then push her into the pond PERIOD 2. If this was the real modern day world then with the rate Xue Yao is going with jumping to alcohol every time he hits a problem, then he would of gotten hit by a car while being intoxicated ages ago. 3. If it wasn’t for the fact that this is meant to be a light hearted drama and the ML and FL need a happily ever after, then looking at Chu Yue’s personality/actions she would of been killed off in episode 1 already. 4. Tao Yao, so shes just not gonna say anything about Xue Mu liking Chu Yue and that he risked his life for her. But then on the wedding night of Xue Yao and Chu Yue she decides to fess up. Real smooth :/

very cute watch overall, but one thing that annoys is the lack of intelligence the characters have and they are so easily manipulated by lies fed by the evil witch. It’s ridiculous that they all treat the evil witch like some kind of Holy Spirit/god, I mean could it be any more obvious that she IS THE VILLIAN. For instance the lair/temple she lives in, brah does the whole atmosphere and creepy symbols not say somth evil about her. Same with her face, costumes, fake magic, black/purple aroma. LMAO
