Initially, I wasn't feeling the first couple of episodes and the lighthearted atmosphere, albeit I understand…
It was necessary for the presentation of the characters but also to avoid being depressing 90 percent of the time. I’m weirdly into war drama and that’s when I was truly obsessed with this show. But I’m happy they aren’t losing momentum and still have lightheaded moments to give me a breather from time to time.

I’m totally agreeing here!! Namkoong Min manages to deliver a character that has a bad boy vibe yet remains loyal, sexy as hell yet highly respectful, cynical in soul yet romentic at heart. I absolutely love his acting style and how he delivers his lines in such a natural and comic way but when he needs to be serious he suddenly shifts gears. I’m happy we have him as the ML because he really exudes confidence in front of the camera and many younger actors don’t have that ability.
