I want to address an important aspect of how women are portrayed in Kdrama, Hollywood movies and particularly in historical drama. Seriously as a woman I don’t like seeing female characters who are always portrayed as humble, thoughtful and caring creatures with impeccable manners on screen! In order to make them relatable to modern society writers often portray them as uninterested in sewing or not good at it, bored in girls manners school or having revolutionary opinions. In some cases they are dressing like men, fighting like men and suddenly developing an interest in politics. But in the end they’re not men so what’s the point?! A woman can be all of those things but she also has to be real! Finally I can see a real woman on screen, one who isn’t shy about using her beauty to get what she wants, who doesn’t sugar coat the truth, who isn’t just intelligent but also clever in her own field, who makes mistakes but doesn’t easily admit them. A real woman not the perfect embodiment of justice and honor but a flawed yet authentic WOMAN!

6FD is a fantastic drama!!! I’m still excited to know that those talented writers are coming back with the second season of AC. Btw I really hope that Netflix releases Goodbye Earth soon. I’m not a big fan of Sci Fi but I’ll make the effort to see our talented actors again

Yeah, I understand what you are saying although I see it a bit differently because the time jump not only provides the perfect explanation for the cast change but also gives us a more logical and powerful plot. It give Eunseom the opportunity to grow up and become a successful leader who can have a truly meaningful impact on the people suffering under Tagon’s leadership all that time. For example I was a bit disappointed with the cast change in alchemist of souls but mostly because the FL suffered from amnesia 90 percent of the time in the second season, she simply portrayed a different person and it’s not the same case here. But maybe you’re right any it’s better to not expect anything and just enjoy and be surprised lol.

If old fans can see past that, as I do myself, this season is going to be even better. It’s a story with a growing pace and we are arriving at its peak point😅

I really want them to have a happy ending, not only because they definitely deserve it but also because I need to clarify that there isn’t something tragically wrong with me. It can’t be that almost all my favorite dramas have sad endings. It’s not that I’m doing it on purpose 😅

If you’re looking for a movie to watch you can check out The Great Battle. It’s directed by the same director who worked on the second season of Arthdal Chronicles. In fact if you haven’t seen the first season of AC you should give it a try because the second season should be action packed with war scenes.

Finally with English sub I saw it already without sub and I couldn’t understand anything. Gomawo!!! (at least I know how to say thank you in Korean)

I actually have more appreciation for LJG since he took that role. It isn’t an easy task to play a character already established by someone else yet again he proves that he isn’t afraid of challenges. He is practically our savior for that show and I’m grateful

I never thought I would like to watch more than 20 episodes of a drama but I’m definitely down for it with this one. The more the merrier haha

Never heard of Mash befor lol. But yeah it’s unfortunate that everything needs to be politely correct. I guess world peace will come sooner than that kind of drama.

I’m really curious about ML. I still haven’t cracked him just yet but I’m determined to understand more about him. He’s so intriguing hiding behind that cynical personality and cool attitude which only makes me more eager to uncover why he concealed his emotions. It must have something to do with his father and loyalty right?

I’m also watching Moving and it’s fine and cute although I don’t like school setting. It was before episode 5 with the storyline of the bus driver that I thought about dropping it and moving on ( yes I did it as well haha) but I kept going

They are pretty much even in that department and should seek counseling in modern age if they want to get married lol. But I wouldn’t change a thing with the dynamic they have.
