This is so funny. It's essentially the cast of yanxi palace. They have 80% of their cast in common! Is this a normal practice for cdramas? To have a whole team that works with each other all the time?

I am pretty sure that Yanxi is more accurate. Obviously both shows take liberties to dramatize but as far as I know, empress Fucha is known to be a very good person and the emperor loved her very much and wrote a ton of poetry for her after she died and even wished they hadn't had a kid so she wouldn't get heartbroken and die. Meanwhile, step empress died in disfavor and without a title and there is even some dispute over what her real name is!
