Okay, I totally feel you! I hated AOL because Jin Mi was so stupid and it annoyed me but I held on for three episodes here and this show develops very differently and the main character gets better fast, in my opinion. Also the ensemble cast is amazing and there is beautiful romance AND friendship in it which made it worthwhile to me and the plot is much more actively good than AOL so maybe give it another chance and you might just like it!
I hope I can move on soon from this drama so I can watch a new one. I have tried to watch like 3 or 4 dramas already…

Exactly! I think these cutesy female leads can get very exhausting to watch but Crystal Yuan kept a very good balance with the character that made her endearing. The character also goes through a lot of emotional maturing as she gains her senses and that is reflected in her performance.

That is a pity. I mean I love a fast-paced, exciting show as much as the next person but these slower-paced shows have their own charm too and usually they have better plot and character arcs as well.

I would actually cast older actors for both main characters because the story spans over 30 years so casting people who look 20 might work for one season but then it'll be so ridiculous when they are in their 40s and 50s for most of the story afterward! Plus, Korean actors and actresses all look so young anyway! I would also like to suggest Son Ye Jin for Claire. She is tough as nails and she has that maturity that Claire's character needs.
