I'm on ep 13, and the confession was bitter-sweet. FL told ML that he was the one that helped her back then, and…
That scene was amazing. I loved how you can basically hear his internal scream through his eyes. It was the ultimate heartbreak because he has truly fallen for her and she just sees him as a good friend and it's all the nice pain, you know? I wasn't even upset, it was just so satisfying to watch
Wow for drama that i probably never heard the actor and actress names, this drama provides much fanfares with…
I love it! It was a surprise watch for me. I almost dropped it after first episode but I just couldn't stop thinking about it and had to watch the rest and it has been a wild, fun, adventurous ride since!
ok, I found something very fascinating in ep27. When QM was going off at QY, she mentioned how she learned that shame and stuff are not important from QY and that really reveals so much about her. Because what does QM lie about? Some serious stuff, like drugging QX. But what does QY lie about? She lied about why she was escaping the He residence in order to survive getting buried alive! It's two completely different ways of lying but we have seen so far how QM just parrots rules without really thinking about them. She knows lying is bad but she lacks the comprehension to analyze the situation and nuances of telling the truth or lying. For example, one might lie to save a life when the truth will have someone die, unfairly. Yet because QM does not understand these complexities, she sees no difference between QY pretending to be Madam Su to survive and her own lies to marry QX. Anyway, all this to say that someone failed miserably in raising this girl because she just has a very shallow understanding of right and wrong and never really learned any life skills.
I find her not really evil, just very angry and desperate, and she turned that anger against her sister which…
yes, she's not just driven by valid grievances. Her illogical hatred and envy towards her sister drives most of her bad decisions. From the very first episode, she used her logic and reasoning to harm Qiu Yan. It's really sad.

I do think she's an interesting character and I do feel bad for her sometimes but after she did what she did to Qin Xuan, I lost all respect for her. She did to him what happened to her and I was mortified. I am interested to see what the show will do with her now.
They did such a good job and it's original. I'm really impressed. The show might not be perfect or expensive but it's really engaging and fun to watch. Compliments to the writer!

I just mean they should get married for real!
I was honestly shocked that this show had such a heavy and complex twist.
