Loved this drama! I didn't think I would enjoy this as much. I would definitely rewatch this for all of those cute scenes! I'm one of the lucky ones that encountered this drama way after the alternative ending was aired and subbed; save me the pain of that heartache. I still don't know why they couldn't have just kept the alternate in the first place and scratch the other ending. Definitely teared a little when they realized that Joss was still alive.

Definitely found myself a new obsession with Joss; cute and sexy at the same time. He still needs acting lessons, but he can definitely go far if he perfects his acting skills.

Noon nailed her role. The only thing is that I just kept noticing the age difference between her and Joss even though she is supposed to be in her late 30s. I kept thinking if there was someone to replace noon's character if she wasn't chosen and for some reason I thought of Punch, she has that maturity but kiddish look to her which would have made her an interesting pair with Joss too.

On Nabi, My Stepdarling Oct 19, 2021
Story had great potential, but it became trash especially the 2nd half. I liked the drama up til ep 11. They totally shelved Nabi's character when she had so much chance to do more and justice, yes people, JUSTICE. The aunt was so manipulative and dangerous that I couldn't sympathize with her. I wished Kawin was more righteous and understanding towards Nabi. Aside from this, Joss and Fah had tons of chemistry. I don't mind watching them together again in a better lakorn. Joss definitely improved in comparison to his debut days; he's more natural, but he still needs work on his crying or emotional scenes.

Lol, I just got done with this lakorn and boy does every thing you said is spot on. I literally hated the 2nd half of this lakorn. Idk why it ended the way it did; like no awkwardness and like everyone forgot what wee did goes beyond me. My rating was also a 6.5 before seeing yours.

If you understand what parallel world means then you should be able to understand that they are all the same person.…
Oh no! I completely understand you! I think in Xiao Tan's case from what I've seen, she wanted to get Mo Liang Cheng away from the Queen because that was her number 1 priority so she did everything she can to win him over. I forgot which episode it was but she finally came clean to Mo Lian Cheng about doing everything that she did just for Cheng Cheng. She knew it was him, but not a complete him.

I can't get over the fact that Qu Xiao Tan concluded that Eighth Young Master Mo Lian Cheng was her real Cheng-Cheng…
If you understand what parallel world means then you should be able to understand that they are all the same person. To us, it may seem like qu xiao tan in season 2 is not the same as season 1's tan er, but that is because she doesn't have the memories and experiences with the season 1's cheng cheng, but she is still tan er. Same base story for season 2 with two mo liang chen; they are both the same person, but cheng cheng has more memories and knowledge in comparison to season 2's mo liang chen thus making cheng cheng superior. Parallel world means there is another you on a different plane, but when you jump to their plane, you change the original route that it is supposed to follow. For season 3, from what I've gathered so far since I'm not completely finish yet, it is not like season 1 with two very different soul for qu xiao tan; it is cheng cheng in his own body but with a parallel him sharing it, like bipolar, but not really bipolar. You could say with 2 consciousness but the new cheng cheng has not realized his true self. The only odd equation from this set up is tan er who happens to be from the modern world and always gets dragged into cheng cheng's world and replaces the original qu xiao tan; she'll be the only one that forms a body with qu xiao tan if the other her was still alive. But, since I haven't completely finished this drama, it is still cloudy for me who the queen is in season 3. And, I do agree with you that they kiss too much because they are pass this honeymoon phase lol, I don't mind kissing or sleeping with eachother because they are married, but dang kissing everytime they see eachother is too much.

I think the policeman didn't die. He was shot near the shoulder and they didn't show his body or anything after…
I think so too!

Sorry to say, but don't kill me. I pretty much hated everyone, there was literally no one I wanted to root for. Seeing this type of genre, it's been done before so I already knew what to expect - so obvious. I did start to like and grew fond of the young police boy - pity he died, let's hope not if there's a season 2 because boy needs answers. And, let's not forget that black mask man's epic voice - totally called it!

Yeah, ML never thought of the Kunwu clan as his enemy. It is the betrayal of FL and the lost of his father that drove his anger and hate. I'm just speaking in terms of how the FL decided to do what she had to do and it is understandable too. But like I say, she could have told him but then she couldn't because ML would have to pick a side. His master would have never let him free the demon king. Plus, ML at this time was still weaker than FL so he wouldn't be able to fight his master. With ML's memory, no one knew that he was half kunwu; only the master, his father, and the demon king knew. I really liked the first half, not so much the second half because this story had so much potential when the demon king was released but it was like a mini climax and then bye bye lol. I felt it started to drag when they came back from the pond realm.

Stayed for Pink and Pian. Their storyline was much more interesting imo, and I had hoped that there would be a good twist for them, but super disappointed for both of their endings.

I'm still on ep 6, but I've noticed that Huang Jun Jie got a little meatier so he looks super good and his acting definitely improved. He doesn't frown his eyebrows as much anymore or at least I haven't notice yet. He seems to be the type that makes improvement along the way which is really good in comparison to his "The Big Boss" & "Dr. Cutie" days. Did Jun Jie use his real voice in here because if he did I liked it, I like how the voice sounds nice, soothing, and crisp!

Then Does it have a happy ending ?
Not satisfied. I got to a point where I just didn't care or expect much from the love lines since the team behind this series didn't care too. Even the death of the villians, I wasn't satisfy as most were forgiven too easily.

That ending was so weird lol. I was like, "That's it!".

I still lmao at this storyline. I give props to this drama for being a first to make me hate all characters except for Prince Han and Prince Qin. The scriptwriter had loads of scene to develop YZF's character, but nooooo decided to waste him by making him a betrayer and wanna be double, triple agent. He had a really strong arc to make new changes and accomplish his goals, be best friends with ML, and be a double edge sword; sadly, we didn't get to see this. Definitely wasted a whole bunch of scenes on unnecessary people like the rapist uncle, see I even forgot his name, crown princess - this girl needs to go go go psychotic much, Fushui - we didn't need him or his other fake persona as a villian lol, Fuyin - I rolled my eye every time this girl was conflicted, Crown Prince - he too slow to realize that he had always had the Tang kingdom, I'm still mindblown and speechless as to how a CP can JUST/going to commit suicide because of his sister in law's death, first in history drama ever, Prince Zhou - I'm sorry, but not sorry to those who loved him, he was just an annoyance with prince authority, Lu Ying Ying - I hated how she acted like she was the embodiment of good which she was far, far from this when she hasn't even ventured to seeing the bad that was inflicted to others caused by her family, she was willing to forgive and side with a rapist who did put her family in jail, but blindly couldn't see YZF's side of story that can never be asked from her for forgiveness as that should be a decision made from YZF who was willing to give forgiveness, Empress - she wasn't the worst, but she wasn't the best or smartest queen, she had too much favoritism, and "off with their heads" w/o proper investigation which made me hated her character, too much power for another slow person. Although, ML can be so annoying and childish at times, I wished I saw more of him because his smart and lying tactics on war was so spot on. Sighs, there's more, but I'll just stop lol.

Honestly, I finished this series to see how all the people I disliked were going to meet their end and my list was huge lol.

I guess you didn't even get my points seeing as how you're questioning me instead of answering my question so let me answer you instead. Uh yeah, I never saw ML went out of his way to help the demons. He only let them go during that one carriage scene because FL was there and he felt bad because there were demon children in that carriage. He knew how the demons were treated, and stood up once to speak for them, but that was it. No action on his part. Like I keep stressing and seeing as how you still miss this point, even if ML knew what was on FL's mind I doubt he could do much as he stands with the humans which is why he was named the PROTECTOR. So what if ML can help FL release some demons, but for how long? The demons will still be treated as slaves. FL doesn't want just freedom for her people, she wanted equality too. To do this, she has to release the demon king. ML probably won't be able to hurt FL, but he wouldn't be able go along with her plan to release the demon king. By helping her means he is betraying the human. Eventually, they'll have to pick sides because why? He's the PROTECTOR of humans. So, knowing all this crap, how is the FL supposed to confide and throw this burden onto ML when he has to pick a side if she had told him. No one knows what the demon king is capable of. Did you know he was going to drop his grudge and hatred? No! I thought he was going to massacre the humans once he wakes up. For Second ML, he knew beforehand that the FL was a demon so she had nothing to hide from him. Second ML has no reason to help her, but because he knew her situation and he liked her, he was willing to help. FL wouldn't have gone to second ML if he didn't let her know what his thoughts were. In comparison to ML, second ML does not have ML's responsibilty of a PROTECTOR of humans, he does not have ML's burden which is the weight of all human lives on his shoulder. Also, are we watching the same drama? Why would you ask why second ML never did anything to help the demons before? Well, if you did know his story then you would realize that he is a powerless prince, he has no power to do that. If he did, his country wouldn't be suppressed and under the ML's kingdom. Second ML can't even help his people let alone the whole demon clan who were weakened with no powers. Again, are we watching the same drama? How did you not see ML's face when he first saw the human and demon race living with each other? His expression should already tell you that he's shocked so it implied that he never thought of coexisting before. Also, spare me the words of attacking me with delusion. Only a person who says this to another person is when they haven't analyzed all character or the storyline well enough to understand it. I only addressed what I saw from the drama and never once used the word delusion to address you and your argument.
