I love this drama. It's so funny, but also engaging and heartfelt. The chemistry between these two are brilliant. I love having a warm male lead and a ballsy female lead. This is also the first drama where the female second lead is capturing my heart. She's so over the top! It's great.

This drama is so AMAZINGLY different from your standard Kdrama fare that I cannot wait to see where it goes. I'm usually all romance, but they've put so much thought into this world-building. It's fascinating. You have a branch of humanity that can't even fathom agriculture, and yet doesn't really understand slavery either. Then you have the branch that can build amazing cities but also deliberately spread disease to kill of people for their land. The sets are gorgeous, the costumes lovely, the characterizations full. I do wish they'd dropped the whole season at once because I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS, but part of my frustration is rooted in the fact that they're building this up so well. Eunseom has so many unexplored facets--we've seen him defend and we've seen him run, but we've never seen him hunt. At the end of episode four I doubt he even realized he was hissing. It was just instinctual. Ugh, love it.

This is my favorite drama of all time. While not high budget, the standard it set for me was high. You have four main leads, each with their own goals and personalities. No real love triangles, though jealousy plays a role. You have a platonic friendship between a man and a woman, different stratas of society, comedy, and best of all--an "Opposites Attract" couple! Seriously, they are so good for each other, and I loved them. LOVED THEM. It is ridiculously underrated.

I enjoyed it, but the one thing that kept it from being really great was that the FL's arc was pretty flat. The main leads got full on character arcs, positive and negative, but she didn't really change as a person or want anything that wasn't connected with the men in her life. Good for a rainy weekend, not your choice if you want something to fangirl over.

Made it to episode 10 by honestly my attention was lost around episode 5. The leads don't have any chemistry and barely interact.

My one complaint was that I was hoping for a resolution between Yenicall and Zampano, but overall, this was a great movie. Lots of twists and turns without losing the audience, and a bunch of comedic moments. Loved it!
